heck no! My hair was dry dry dry!! NO detangler what so ever..

I didn't like this shampoo at all compared to others I've used. Dried my hair out terribly. Read the ingredients. This does contain sulfates. I'm not overly strict about using organic hair products but I know for my hair sulfates dries it out too much. But you never know this might work for you. Luckily I was just borrowing this from my sister and didn't waste my money.

This is an acceptable shampoo for me, I prefer less intense shampoos and this shampoo seems to not rip my hair of all it's moisture like the cheaper ones do! Other recommedations would be the john freida full repair shampoo, which smells a little better than this one.
