I really like this only thing is if you use too much then your hair will be weighed down>>>otherwise good styler! I use the leave in and then this>>>doesn't have much hold though... Still a good protective styler!
I love this cream, it it so moisturizing. I used it on wet or dry hair and I love how soft it makes my hair feel for days.
Added shine and moisture....but just like the other product I ordered at the same time (Butter Love) there was a problem with the consistency. Although it was creamy, there were grainy white grits throughout the product. I even tried rubbing the product in my hands first and the grits did not go away. When I applied the product to my hair, it looked like I had dandruff. I'm not sure what gives but that's two strikes already for the two products i've bought. I'll try my best to use it again but I wouldn't re-purchase this unless I could verify the consistency was actually a cream. On another note, it did smell delightful!
So far the KBB products I have been trying are excellent! This cream is light yet very effective in giving my hair the shine and moisture it needs. And all you need is a very little!
I love this cream, my hair loves thick creams and this is very thick and creamy. I did a puff/twist out and they did come out fatter and less defined with this but the moisturize value outweighted that. I did mix with Eco-styler and it plays very well with it (no white flakes or build up). It kept my hair smooth and really soft. Even when I wet my hair and reapplied, no build up and my hair remained soft and very manageable. This is definitly going in to my product rotation.
So, this product is decent. I still like my Butter Love, much better though. I've tried the cream in a couple of different ways. I normally like 'cream' based products for my braid-outs, however the consistency of this product, isn't really creamy. You have to dig it out and rub it generously in your hands, before applying it to your hair. Which was alright...I just wished it was a little more "whipped." That being said, I do like it for my scalp and ends. I normally apply it to my scalp, like a hair grease, and on my ends as a sealer. It pairs well with the Nubian Heritage custards. (I have the one in the green tube.)
This cream is super moisturizing. I tried to use this to 2 strand twist my hair, results were ok, my twists were really soft and but just weren't as defined as I like them to be. I will continue to use on my daughter's hair and ends.
I'm back to review again and this is def a product that I love. I love the texture of it the most. It feels real good when you apply it to wet hair. I'll wash, dc, use water as my "leave-in" and seal with this before twisting with or without a gel.
So far so good! I just got this purchase in the mail not to long ago. I ordered it from the KBB website. I have the coco mango scent. It's not too strong at all either....I'll describe that scent as "peaceful and calm" smelling lol. I've been using this to retwist my hair up at night. I first mist my hair my oyin juices then use like a nickel size amount to seal that moisture in. My hair feels soft. The next morning I just put some oil in my hair and take my twist out and I've been having good hair days...as I use this more though and in different ways I'll check bk in and update my rating. My first impression is that I'm loving it. It's not oily neither, def more of a cream. (Like the name says it is.)
