I thought I would really like this cream because I loved the leave-in, but this flaked and didn't seem to have any holding power (even cream levels of hold). My curls got fluffy and ratty looking like I'd walked in drizzly rain--but it wasn't raining. I'll stick with the leave-in in this line.

I used this for a braid out my hair was extremely soft, fluffy and bouncy however, I got flakes. The flakes were not extremely visible on my hair but it was like dust or snow fell out of my hair every time I touched it or my hair moved. I think that the product will actually work better on blown out or straightened hair. The smell lingers and though it is not overpowering if you do not like products that smell like perfume you may not like this product.

This didn't do anything for my curly hair BUT I think it would actually work well on flat-ironed hair.

I don't know about the 48 hour claim, but the cream did smooth my second day hair quite nicely. It is surprisingly lightweight, so it's best for when you just need an extra little oomph, but nothing too dramatic. It has a light, pleasant scent. I definitely like it for second day hair, but I don't think it's strong enough to help 3rd day hair. It also didn't do a whole lot for my daughter's 4a/b hair. But I'll keep using it for sure!
