This is a great product most of the time. However, I started having buildup issues while using it and, even after clarifying, my curls didn't take to it again. When things were good, I had nice curl encouragement, low frizz, and all the makings of a return visitor to my rotation. When things turned bad, I had a good bit of frizz, fluff, and undefined messiness--mainly in one area but airy surface frizz everywhere else. I wish I knew how to get back to the 2 weeks of happy Duo Shield and I shared together. Maybe it's the persistent muggy, drizzly, not-raining-but-wants-to weather, but there's no signs of it letting up any time soon here.
