Supplementing hair's own sebum, it lightly lubricates hair leaving it supple, smooth and shiny, not parched, puffy or dull. Truly unique, this quick-acting formula utilizes a triggered release mechanism to provide immediate as well as continuous 24-hour coverage. Unrestricted microdroplets of moisturizing oils instantly permeate each hair shaft, without leaving the surface greasy. Replenishing oils lost to blow-drying, it tames flyaways and static. This product worked okay for me. it defined my curls but left my hair feeling a bit crunchy and did not calm my frizz all ALL. I would not repurchase this.

I used to consider this my HG before discovered the CG method, so much so that I still have two full back-up tubes of it in my bathroom, as I was terrified it would be discontinued. Now, I just look back and laugh. It contains silicones, and while it certainly "depuffed" my hair, it also weighed it down and made it look greasy and unwashed. And because my hair was coated with the silicone, any other hair products could not penetrate the hair shaft or even stay on top of my hair, so hair sprays, gels, etc., would not work at all. Even if I managed the difficult feat of using just the right amount to depuff but not look greasy (something I think I accomplished only once in the entire 15-ish years I used it), I lived in fear of anyone touching my hair because of how greasy it felt. It caused significant build-up, so I had to wash my hair every day when I used this, which of course I now know is really damaging.
