This was a HG product for Gretchen and i years ago, and I tried it again and remembered why I liked it so much. I use it as a pomade, mid day, to revive my curls, get rid of crunch and get rid of frizz. It has a nice light texture.
I'm so sorry l'Oreal Gel when I said your product was the worst... THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER. My hair becomes this sticky thing... Maybe I used it wrong I don't know but if I were you I wouldn't even give it a try. John Frieda product's over use silicone anyways...
This product worked okay for me. it defined my curls but left my hair feeling a bit crunchy and did not calm my frizz all ALL. I would not repurchase this.
I used to consider this my HG before discovered the CG method, so much so that I still have two full back-up tubes of it in my bathroom, as I was terrified it would be discontinued. Now, I just look back and laugh. It contains silicones, and while it certainly "depuffed" my hair, it also weighed it down and made it look greasy and unwashed. And because my hair was coated with the silicone, any other hair products could not penetrate the hair shaft or even stay on top of my hair, so hair sprays, gels, etc., would not work at all. Even if I managed the difficult feat of using just the right amount to depuff but not look greasy (something I think I accomplished only once in the entire 15-ish years I used it), I lived in fear of anyone touching my hair because of how greasy it felt. It caused significant build-up, so I had to wash my hair every day when I used this, which of course I now know is really damaging.
