It's an okay product I've used the old one and I think this is an improvement. It smells nice and makes my hair soft but I prefer the curl quencher it has a thicker consistency and moisturizes more

I use this as a conditioner and a leave-in after conditioning. It has a new scent since they changed the packaging (I preferred the clean scent they had before). It does not change the product any, but I base a lot of my purchases on scents as well as how they work. Always have this in my arsenal of hair stuff!

I want to like this conditioner, but it seems to make my hair a little TOO poofy. I've never tried it as a leave in as some people have in earlier reviews, but as a regular conditioner, I can only use it about once a month.

I use this as a leave in. To use it as a rinse doesn't do anything for me. But I love it as a leave in.

This is a great conditioner to use in the summer both as a rinse-out AND as a leave-in. Even though it has a heavy consistency, it doesn't weigh down the hair at all. After rinsing it out in the shower, I apply some as a leave-in, and then apply both botancial boost and climate control. I can either air dry during the day or sleep on it wet with a silk pillowcase and my hair spread out like a fan. Either way, great curls, no frizz, and no crunch. I prefer it to Ouidad Playcurl, which I find way too volumizing for my 2B/3A hair. I'm giving it 3 stars intead of 4 because it's not as good a detangler as my HG rinse-out (Elucence) but much more expensive. After this bottle, I will probably switch back to Elucence as a rinse-out and use this only as a leave-in during the summer.

When I use this as a leave-in, it's pretty good - soft curls. But as a regular conditioner, it's not thick enough. I'd give it 2 1/2 curls if I could.

This conditioner works wonders for my hair and detangles better than any other conditioner I have used. I also like to use it as a leave-in. It has a great smell and conditions well, but is light enough that it doesn't weigh my hair down. I use the Balancing Rinse with the Ouidad Curl Quench Shampoo. Perfect for me!

I love this as a leave in conditioner- I also use it after the deep conditioner, and it works well as a daily conditioner that you'd rinse out. Love the fragrance too

I LOVE this conditioner! It detangles my hair really well and leaves it ever so soft- I use it as a leave and it helps ti minimize frizz and poof dramatically!!! I also like using it on top of the deep treatment as the directions say to put another conditioner on top of it. This stuff is well worth the price it's the best!

i had no trouble detangling in the shower even though it's a light formula and this works good if you leave some on the ends before you style.

This is an excellent daily conditioner for my coarse textured hair. I have below-the-shoulder length afro-textured hair that is very difficult to manage without a good conditioner that detangles and softens. This product satisfies my criteria and prepares my hair for easy styling. I especially use it when I need to slick my frizzy hair into a smooth bun. It primes my curls so that when I apply my gel, I get beautiful soft, shiny waves. Very Chic!!

This works as a basic conditioner and detangler for me; it works best with another Ouidad shampoos. When I've used this with other brands, there is a wierd chemical reaction and my hair is like straw. This works wonders for my daughters fine, thick hair also.

I've had mixed results from this product; it seems to work best when used with the Ouidad Clear Shampoo. When I've used it with other shampoos, it has a wierd, almost chemical reaction, and leaves my hair really matted down. I'm glad I tried it, but won't repurchase.

Looks like I'm the lone dissenter. I love this lightweight, silicone-free, build-up free formula for my 3A curls. It's one of the very few conditioners that actually makes my hair curlier from the moment I step out of the shower. Its detangling properties aren't the best, but it does detangle well enough for me. This can also be used a leave-in, but I prefer the Botanical Boost. It has a nice, fruity scent (same scent as Deep Treatment). Probably best for type 2's and 3A's. Curlier or drier hair types will probably require more moisture/weight than this provides.

Oh, what can I say other than it's not good stuff! Didn't detangle my hair even after using almost 2 oz. and I flat-out found it ineffective.

No more effective than the average drugstore conditioner. Not very hydrating at all. Much too expensive for what you get.

Can't use this for a daily conditioner, but I LOVE it for a leave-in. Gives just enough moisture to detangle without weighing my hair down or making it look dirty.

This may be a little light for most curlyheads. There are better daily conditioners out there.

Not exactly sure what the point is. Seems to function like a creme rinse. Instructions are to put it in after shampooing. Anyway, no complaints.
