Aveda discontinued this product and I have yet to find its equal. Gentle, moisturizing, luxurious. The best shampoo I've ever used. Too bad Aveda kicked it to the curb.
Not so great smell, but wow, is this a moisturizing poo or what?! I love it! I was told by the Aveda rep that this will be replaced soon by a poo that's just as moisturizing but with a better smell. We shall see.
This is an amazing shampoo. The smell isn't great, but the results are wonderful. It even worked wonders on my daughter's chlorine damaged hair this summer. By far, this is their best shampoo.
I never thought much of this product until I began to use the Sap Moss conditioner with it. My hair dresser said that they were made to work together. When used together, I noticed an enormous difference in my curls. They are smoother, more defined and less frizzy. Thought I would pass this tip on as it worked for me. I am not crazy about the smell, but it wokrs so well that I still give it 4 curls.
I liked this shampoo at first but it became too drying with continues use for me. Kinda weird smell that I actually liked.
I love aveda's products, but I can't say that this shampoo did anything special for my hair, and it wasn't worth the price. I get better results with pantene relaxed and natural. The smell is really earthy, and it always makes me feel like i've been camping in the woods...not always a good thing.
This is a great shampoo that cleanses well without stripping my hair, or make it frizz out for that matter. I don't use this everyday, it isn't that moisturising. It did everything I wanted it to do.
Unfortunately for me this shampoo just didn't work. It left my ends feeling just parched and my roots weighed down. I'm not keen on the smell, but I would tolerate it if this product worked for me, but it doesn't.
Sticky and weighty. I've tried this shampoo so many times b/c it looks so pretty (pearlescent) in the tube and I adore the earthy scent. However, paired with the conditioner and used more than two days in a row... and I have sticky, coated feeling curls. The esthetic appeal of this shampoo is amazing, but it doesn't perform well for me.
I love this shampoo so much. Its wonderfull stuff. Smells and feels decadent, a little goes a long way and it left my hair feeling hydrated.
yay!!!!!!!!! once i used this and saw how shiny it made my hair, i started jumping up and down on the bed and doing the homer simpson "woohoo!"
I too am hooked on aveda products and this sap moss shampoo (and conditioner is the best) it makes my hair so soft and defined plus in combination with the conditioner and the (be curly) styling lotion my hair is at it's best! Love it!
I'd probably still be using this shampoo if the fragrance hadn't aggrivated the hubby's allergies! Nicely moisturizing and actually quote economical as it is concentrated. Worked smashingly on my dry, color treated hair. I miss this stuff! (Luckily I found Ouidad's Curl Quencher Shampoo, which I love every bit as much)
I love this shampoo. Nice, woodsey smell. It is concentrated so you only need to use a small amount - a little goes a long way. Once you've wet started to work it through your hair, splash a little more water on to activate the lather.
Really thick lather and has an earthy-foody smell. Liked how soft my hair was after using. A little goes a long way!
I'm partial to Aveda products so I loved this new shampoo. It's tan, pearl texture was wonderful and it had a thick, nice-smelling lather.
