Great, and I mean GREAT, product. I rated it a 5 because for a cheap conditioner, it gets the job done. I was using Tresemme's conditioner for curly hair--HATED IT. Everyone I know doesn't recommend it but I used it anyways. lt left my hair dry at times, and the sides of my hair kind of looked like curly sideburns-yuck! Now everything so soft and nice, I can even get second-day hair (w/out even having to put any conditioner on it AT ALL).

Note: this product appears to have been reformulated and I use the current version which is just "Pantene Curls." This stuff is fantastic. Rich and moisturizing, and just as good as every costly conditioner I have ever used. Also works great as a base for any handmade hair treatments you might want to whip up. I love it and, at that price, I can always use as much as I feel I need!

I love this conditioner because it is cheap and really defines my curls. I can finally wear my hair down!!! But after learning about how silicones affect hair, I am considering switching to another product...

I used to use this conditioner and liked it, but heard that over time Pantene will damage your hair. I did notice that the shampoo (the color protection one) stripped the color (dye) out of my hair so I decided to stay away from Pantene totally.

My hair still felt too dry after using this conditioner. Probably better for other curl types but definitely not mine.

This is the only HG product for my curls. I swear buy this conditioner above all. Ive used really expensive conditioners and I always come back to this one. It detangles my thick curls very well and once dried, my hair feels very soft.

The only thing I liked about this stuff was the smell and the consistancy. I wouldn't even use it to shave that's how bad it was.

This is a great, thick conditioner, that overall works well for my hair. However, I found that it only worked really well if I mixed it with another rich conditioner and then practically drowned my hair with the conditioner...so unless you want to buy a bottle every two weeks, look elsewhere for a good conditioner.

i've been using this for a while now - i find it's really great for detangling my hair. but some of these other reviews, mentioning curls getting brittle and dry over time... yes, that's happening to me. not sure whether to blame it all on this product, but maybe i'll switch to something else for a while and see what happens.

I've used the Pantene line before in the past, but was always put off by the strange, heavy smell of it. (I think they've lightened it a bit now, but I still don't care for it.) This conditioner (& the shampoo) seemed to work well at first for me, but over time (several months) my hair looked and felt awful - very dry & brittle.

I was a loyal Pantene user for a LONG time. As my hair became more dry & coarse over time, I blamed it on the grays popping out (now colored), then on my styling products, & then on my age. Thankfully, my hair dresser finally asked what shampoo/conditioner I was using & set me straight (or curly...). Pantene was slowly damaging my hair over time. It may feel nice & soft as you use the product, but trust me---it is damaging. Run away & don't look back.

Didn't work as well as I hoped - not moisturizing enough, left my hair tangled. The smell got to me after a while too.

Didn't care for the smell, but it worked good in the beginning. After a while of use it began to weigh down my hair. It has cones so I don't use it anymore.

I was reluctant to try this product because of the reviews it received here, but I was glad i did. After using this conditioner, my curls were SUPER defined. I have pretty long hair (down past my shoulder blades) and this made my curls so bouncy, soft, and smooth. The only draw back is that is defined my curls so well, that my my hair was then up to my shoulders.
