For my hair, the description is right on the money. Once I put it into my hair, instantly it becomes detangled, shiny, soft, and smooth. The stylers I use go on more smoothly, and my styles (WNG, twist-outs, etc.) last as long as I want. In other words, the style looks fresh all the time, even on wash day. Though it's only 5 ounces, this product lasts a while. I didn't cowash/low-poo according to schedule as I was testing the product. In my opinion, it passed my test with flying colors. If you have a problem with tangles and your styles lasting, this may be the product for you--especially if you have highly porous hair.
