This is a really good styler if you don't mind a light crunch. It's a very low dew-point day, and I just could not get any definition in my curls. I applied this, and...ooooo....I have definition. Lots of little round curls. It wasn't exactly what I was aiming for, but it's better than fly-away poof. For hold and definition I would have given this 5 curls, except I needed to use quite a lot and this doesn't spread easily throughout hair. This doesn't have glycerin, but it is drying. I scrunched and set with Curls In A Bottle, and now I should be able to get through the day without being tempted to shave my head.
