I bought a whole liter of this at Ulta when they were having a sale on Redken Shampoos. I was intitally really excited about Redken having a sulfate free line for curly hair. For being sulfate free it still gets a tiny bit of lather if I scrub really hard. It keeps my hair pretty moist and the smell is mild. Not my favorite shampoo, but I would recommend it any way

This shampoo is really nice. It's sulfate free and it very moisturizing. I did have to use quite a bit to coat all of my hair and I had to shampoo twice to feel like my hair got clean. It's not a high lather shampoo and feels more like a conditioner with some extra cleaning properties. I'd probably repurchase this again to use as a shampoo when my hair needs a light wash.

I typically do not use any shampoo aside from Deva Curl Low Poo because I'v got super fine, breakable, DRY, tempermental 3b hair with random curl patterns. My stylist asked me to try this curvaceous stuff out and let her know what I think....since I'm a tough customer. I tried it today and really liked it. It's a little perfumey compared to DCLP and, if you've tried oth DC Low Poo & No Poo, I'd say this lather is somewhere in between....very little lather, yet it made my hair feel really clean without feeling stripped or dry....miraculous for me. I followed with the curvaceous conditioner and then Redkin Extreem Anti Snap. I've got soft, defined, clean looking ringlets on a very humid day!...unheard of really. Worth a try curlies!

I stumbled into a local salon looking for Paul Mitchell's new Curly line shampoo and I purchased this instead. It's 10oz. for $16.95 but I've seen it cheaper on Amazon. I also got a free sample of the shampoo and conditioner. I used them for the first time today and loved it. My hair feels clean but not stripped. If I could compare it to something, it's like Mixed Chicks sulfate free shampoo but even more gentle. Usually shampoo causes a lot of frizz but I applied it to my hair while twisted, forcing me to concentrate on my roots. Then I would unravel and work it through to my ends and re-twist. I used two dime sized dollops to get through my whole head. But I have a lot of hair. At this rate, the bottle will last me a month maybe two. I'll update my review if anything changes. At this point I want the whole line.
