i did not actually use this for braids though I know it would work amazing either way. I exercise 5 out of 7 days a week and my scalp was itchy and I didn't wanna cowash everyday so i saw posts about witch hazel(i find it to be drying)and another one by heyfranhey that talked about mixing jojoba with peppermint after her workouts. I didn't feel like mixing so I looked for a product i knew would help my scalp. This product is great. Its good for regular natural hair too. Ii has amazing ingredients and a great smell and is refreshing to the scalp. I wish I could drown my head in it(it feel that good). Its also gives me some moisture and shine so its great. African pride has some really great products with great ingredients for the price!
