I used this product on Monday in preparation for my weekly deep conditioning and I loved the smell. The product did not dry out my 4B curls. After Co-Washing with this product I can say their was no residue or build up in my hair. Needless to say, I will be using the product again in the nearer future.

I have been using the EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner for several months now and love it. Since I am transitioning from relaxing my hair to leaving it in its natural coily state, I figured EverCurl would be the next logical progression. While it does have the same thickness as the EverCreme as well as the great vegan formula, I found that it didn't seem to give my hair the "slip" I get from the EverCreme cleansing conditioner. The other thing that turned me off to it is the smell. The EverCurl definitely has a more herbal scent than the EverCreme which is more musky, but the EverCurl scent reminds me of wilting flowers. I prefer the sort of sandal-wood scent of the original.

This conditioner worked fairly well for my fine 2b normal wavy hair. It wasn't the best thing I've ever used, but it was decent. I got curl, and it wasn't too heavy. There was a little bit of frizz, but better than some others I've used. However, I hated the smell of it. It's got a very strong synthetic floral scent, gardenia, I believe. It's very fake and very powerful. It didn't go away after it dried, either, and conflicted with the organic scents I wanted to wear.

I give this product 4 curls. I've been using this product now for a week and I think my hair is digging it, although it doesn't give me the insane hydration I would've expected, it still cleanses my hair without stripping it completely. Here's the thing, I have A LOT of hair and I'm almost going to be done with it soon, it's $6.99 at walgreens which makes it a bit pricey for such little amount...

I'm giving it a two because it did the job for cleaning my hair and scalp. Unfortunately, this product dried my hair alllllll the way out...it took loads and loads of extra moisturizing conditioner to nurse it back to a workable state.

4 curls instead of 5 because it the scent. it is extremely perfumey and strong, as is this whole line and i don't care for it. the smell would make me not repurchase which is sad because performance wise this is such a nice product! it had a very low lather, my hair and scalp felt clean but super soft and moisturized after. detangling was very easy. my hair felt so soft and conditioned i didn't need a separate conditioner after. if you can tolerate the smell, for the affordable price give this product a try!

This is probably my least favorite of the Evercurl line- I'm sure it is GREAT for curly hair, but it was too moisturizing for my waves. I couldn't use conditioner with it without making my hair look greasy afterwards. It smells great, and is SUPER moisturizing- but I'd suggest avoiding it unless you have super dry hair.

i preferred this 2 in 1 to the regular Evercurl Hydracharge Shampoo and Conditioner seperates. It did not make my hair feel as dry as the separates and the 2 in 1 is nice for a 3-day weekend trip to consolidate on bottles. I would recommend using this in conjunction with a normal washing routine as the hair can become soft/feathery and weighed down at the roots if used as the primary cleanser repeatedly. In conjunction with the leave-in cream styler though, this makes for a quick alternative to a full wash.

This product was a little better than using regular conditioner to cowash. It has a little lather which I like, however I still felt the need to condition my hair after using this. It is decent but if I am still going have to do the extra step of conditioning my hair, I may as well use shampoo.

This is a great product to have around in addition to regular shampoo/conditioner. It's even more gentle than the Hydracharge Shampoo, and a great way to clean up a little in between shampoo days. My favorite way to use this was to use four pumps to massage into the roots and then use the Hydracharge Conditioner on my ends.

Although my hair felt somwhat clean after using this product, it also felt dry. The softness and moisture that I expect from a shampoo just wasn't there with this product. My past experiences with "cleansing conditioners" has been mixed. On the one hand my hair feels okay, but my scalp feels that a build up is left behind. My scalp needs to be clean from a shampoo gives that clean. This product was okay, not great. I would not purchase in the future.

This product would have been a Holy Grail/Staple product, BUT it leaves my hair with a waxy feeling. Other than that, this product is BOMB. It has a light lather, really cleanses the hair, yet leaves it soft and manageable. Sans the waxy feeling, it is one of the BEST cowash conditioners I have ever used. I would repurchase IF I was in desperate need, but the waxy feeling is a turn off. I have low porosity hair with fine strands so that could potentially have affected how this product felt on my hair. A little goes a LOOOOONNNNNNNNNG way. DEFINITELY worth a try though. LOVE IT!

I enjoyed using this cleansing conditioner. For me, it got the job done. I have used other cleansers before and I had another one that work maybe a little bit better. What I love most about this is the scent is barely there. I have very strong allergies and I can use this with no sneeze fest on the way. This would be great for the summer for wash and gos.

This was my first cleansing conditioner, and I'm happy to report that it was a nice experience. I followed up with this product after using this product line's shampoo and conditioner. I didn't leave the product on for very long - about 2-3 minutes, and my hair felt extremely soft after rinsing out. I noticed that it helped to reduce a lot of frizz as well. I'll definitely be using this product often!

AMAZING!!!!!!! I have 2C/3A curls and this stuff is the best. You don't need a shampoo for it, it's all in one. It makes my curls last a LOT longer and I can go without washing a little longer than I used to. It worries me how many pumps it tells me to do (8-10 for normal hair), but considering I'm not using a separate shampoo I feel like it's okay. My hair always comes out smooth and soft, and this isn't harsh on your hair at all!

This one-step cleanser-conditioner has been an awesome find. On days where I don't work out and my hair is fairly clean but needs to start over, this is the answer! I love that my hair comes out clean and moisturized, really soft. I have to use 5 or 6 pumps for my medium-length fine hair. At first it felt weird to be "washing" with what feels like conditioner, but I've gotten used to it and I love massaging my scalp with something creamy instead of something foamy.

I really love this conditioner for my after-swim hair cleansing routine! It's really important that I put moisture back into my hair after swimming, because I swim 3-4 times a week. I don't think I would use this conditioner every day because it's not necessary, but it's perfect for re-hydration! I have normal to thick hair with wavy curls, so I use about 6 pumps which works perfectly. I still comb through my hair to get through all the tangles, but I think using my fingers would work fine too. All in all, it's a great product!

The Cleansing Conditioner was NOT ok for me... I was disappointed. It did NOT work on my hair. Although it was more NOT moisturizing, it had NO slip and it left my hair tangled, dry and brittle. The smell was pleasant but it lingered on my hair which is a "No-No" for me. Unfortunately, I will not consider repurchasing this product.

This product definitely takes some getting used to if you're not used to no-lather shampoos or more "natural" scents. Even though it did feel like I got a clean wash and my hair was softer, I had to use at least 6-7 pumps to feel like I got good coverage. When I used the separate shampoo and conditioner instead, I used about half the amount combined. I think I will continue to use the separate shampoo and conditioner because I don't have to use as much, and in the long run, it will save me money. I will, however, keep this product and use it when needed.

This was a great cleansing conditioner. It thoroughly cleaned my scalp without stripping it of all the natural oils. I was able to easily finger detangle my hair. After cleansing, I could have skipped conditioning my hair because it was left soft and moisturized. Only con is that I do not care for the smell of the product. Consistency is not very thick but it does a great job of coating the hair but in a good way.

Okay, I was REALLY hesitant to try this all by itself as I have tried other "all in one" products that left my hair super dry and had to use conditioner afterwards. I tried this product and was shocked how soft, moisturized and clean my hair felt even after only one wash (I usually rinse and repeat). I still used conditioner the first day I tried it, because I thought I had to. Second day I tried it all by itself (but rinsed and washed again), no conditioner, and my hair felt great (clean, soft, not dry) and had more volume that using the Shampoo/Conditioner Combo. Totally blew my mind...loved it! (Type 2C/3A)

I LOVE this!!!!!!!!! My hair felt SO soft after using this, AND I can even detangle with it! It says you don't need a rinse out condish after this, and while I DID use one after, I really did not need to. My hair was SUPER SOFT, and I absolutely will use this without a rinse out at some point. When I'm traveling, I love taking products that have more than one use, to keep my hair stuff to a minimum, so this will be excellent for travel. I will absolutely purchase this one again! Its a great deal, and the ingredients are excellent!

I love this cleansing conditioner! My hair and scalp felt clean after using it, even though there was very little lather. The bottle says to leave the cream on for 1-2 minutes, which is a step I personally endorse, because my hair felt fantabulous after I rinsed it all out. Though the product was adequately creamy, I did not feel comfortable attempting to finger detangle in shower with it, but after seeing how well it performed, I will definitely try to detangle with it next time!

I really love this cleansing conditioner because it does feel like it cleans my hair but doesn't completely dry it. I'm actually really sad this conditioner didn't work because I like the idea of having a conditioner that cleansed my scalp... Even with it being a conditioner it was still too harsh on my hair. I had used this lines regular conditioner to detangle and condition before cleansing and LOVED IT! My hair felt really soft and was so easy to comb through (which is saying alot for me) but then I went to clean it with this and all that softness went away. I'm going back to using my ACV rinses, it cleans my hair without sucking everything out. Ah well, at least I tried something new.

I really, really wanted to like this cleansing conditioner because it didn't have any irritants (menthol, etc) like some others I've tried that make my rosacea flare. However, it didn't detangle well at all and left my curls parched, tangled (which I usually don't experience with such loose curls), and moderately flash-dried. I think I'd rather stick to using a lighter condish for conditioner cleansing more like a cream cleanser would work on skin instead of using this conditioner with some mild surfactants. It doesn't seem to do either well--cleansing or conditioning--on my prone-to-dryness curls.

I would have given this "5 curls" if the bottle wasn't so darn small, and if it had a functional pump. When I use this I have to remove the cover and squeeze the cream into my hands. I would probably do this even if the pump worked, though, because I need a lot of product in my hair for co-washes. This is a fabulous co-wash - one of my all-time favorites! It cleans well without leaving my hair dry and squeaky, and it doesn't add tangles (it doesn't de-tangle, either). It has a soft, clean, menthol-free fragrance, and it feels creamy and hydrating. I'm guessing the marketers who decided to package this in an 8.5 oz. bottle were unfamiliar with co-washing. (This bottle is "travel-sized" for us Curlies.) For the very reasonable price, however, this is an excellent cleanser and it works particularly well in synch with the EverCurl Leave-in conditioner. This is sold everywhere and definitely worth a try.

As tempting as it is to use most of the EverCurl products in one day, I decided to test them on separate days so that I could isolate how each performed separately. I started this morning with the Cleansing Conditioner. Other than Deva No Poo, I haven't used a cc before. I really liked this. It was very low sudsing, as in I saw none really. It felt like a nice thick conditioner. Did not make my scalp tingle (I've read some other brands have a bit of menthol or mint in them to get that "tingly clean' feeling.) -- no tingle was good for me. Rinsing out, it rinsed well and left my hair conditioned, tangle-free feeling. Being really radical for me, my hair felt so conditioned and tangle free that I decided to SKIP my leave-in step altogether and really put the conditioning properties of the product to the test. Mistake. I need the extra of a LI to give me definition. My curls were stringy without the leave-in step today. I used one of my regular gels (LALSG). My hair dried more quickly which was good! I will definitely use this again and will continue to use it when I need something more than conditioner-only wash.

Curl Rating: 5 5 Curls: Results were consistently dreamy. Worth repurchasing in large sizes.
Curl Rating: 4 4 Curls: Results were better than most. Would repurchase, just not in bulk.
Curl Rating: 3 3 Curls: Some redeeming qualiities but inconsistent or an incomplete solution. Repurchasing hesitancy.
Curl Rating: 2 2 Curls: Had at least one positive trait, but the negative outweighted the positive(s) without question.
Curl Rating: 1 1 Curl: If I were stuck on a desert island, and this product was the only one available, I'd make my own stuff on the island.
