i like this product a lot. it's not my most fav out of the jessicurl products but it is right up there. it looked weird when i first used it and i was kinda scared to put it in my hair but i really do like it! i think it works well

My hair type ranges from 2a waves to 3c curls. I wanted to like this product but it weighted my hair down. I think it was because i used to much of this and the confident coils. Next time ill try diffusing it and using less and use more of KCCC and KCNT or mix if with some AG recoil. my hair looks like a messy beach wave, which is GREAT but its not what i wanted for today.I was looking for moistuized bouncy curls but instead i got messy dry loose waves. i will not purchase because i can get this messy wave look for way cheaper at any drugstore. so if you want dry beach waves with little hold then purchase this or get a mousse from walmart :/

I had my doubt when I put this through my hair...and while I was diffusing, I said to myself "Oh my God, my hair is coming out horrible". But...hey. I used a little bit and when I finished, my hair was great! =) I received it by an order as sample. I was very happy because my hair just drank it without be weighted down... I'm having happy hair day =D I didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't tried many styling product but this!

First of all, I am so excited that Jessicurl offers Fragrance-Free products. Thank you! They are so hard to find. Second, I like the ingredients of their products. Unfortunately, and I should have known better, this was just too heavy for my fine 3A hair. It just weighs down my curls and makes my hair look dull. I want more curl and volume, not less curl and weighed-down hair. Oh well, the more products I try the more I realize what I don't want. This may be good for people with very full hair and super tight curls that want to reduce their volume.

Let's the life and fun of my curls be free. No wet or crunchy look or feel unless I get too much applied, then it easily scrunches into softness. Defines my waves/curls better than any other product I have tried (so glad they have been out of stock for several months now and I had to find something else to define and control my curls).

I received this product as a sample when I directly ordered from Jessicurl. It creates beautiful curls, but it makes my hair rather greasy. I don't think I'd purchase this on my own. As a side note, the "unscented" version of this product reminds me of gingerbread... but it fades.

I've had a difficult time figuring out how much of this to use on my hair. I didn't observe much curl enhancement unless I used a lot of it, and when I did use enough, my hair would get oily and weighed down. It does provide some clumping enhancement, but with the way it makes my hair droop, the drawbacks outweighed the benefits. I get better clumping with other products, without the heavy, oily droop. Compare/contrast: I've also tried AG re:coil. I had better results with that, but it left me a little fuzzy. -- If you have porous hair with a lot of natural body, you may love Rockin' Ringlets.

Strange, watery consistency that i wasn't expecting, and when combined with Confident Coils, initially gave me what appeared to be pretty, defined spirals. However, there was little to no curl enhancement for me as I diffused and then air dried, and by the end of the day, i was left with an icky, lightly wavy, poofy mess. Perhaps I need to use more than I did because all I used was the sample size, but if thats the case, then forget it- it won't be worth it at all. I am giving it two curls because it would be good if I wanted to have loose curls and waves, so if that's what your looking for than go for it.

I initially got poor results with this. However, since I was having a major problem with build-up, I finally banished non-water-soluble silicone products for good a couple weeks ago. I was curious whether this product just reacted poorly with my silicone-laden leave-in conditioner, and decided to give it one more try. I used my regular conditioner (Deva OneCondition) as a leave-in, scrunched in 2 quarter sized puddles of Rockin' Ringlets and 1 of Confident Coils, scrunched with a microfiber towel, and then scrunched in another quarter-sized puddle of each. I was definitely rewarded! Hair dried with some crunch but was easily scrunched out, and I got the volume and curl formation I expect from any product I continue to use. Generally, Magnesium Sulfate works really well for me for curl enhancement, but doesn't dry out my hair too much. There was a bit of frizz, but I smoothed a dime-size amount of Confident Coils lightly over my hair, and that basically took care of that. I'm not sure I'd call it moisturizing, but it's not drying. I think I'll generally continue using this with Confident Coils, as that gave me good results, but I'm not averse to trying it with something else. This isn't my favorite product, but I think it's one that I'll happily keep in my rotation.

As much as I like JC conditioners, I dislike the stylers. Good thing I only had samples of them. None work, leave my hair a dry frizzy poofy mess.

3A/B- mostly fine textured with some medium hair, not particularly thick, but lots of body, mid back length hair. It took a little bit of adjusting to find the correct amount to use for my hair. I mix together about 2 tsp of Rockin' Ringlets plus about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Confident Coils, apply on my sopping wet hair in the shower, scrunch out the moisture, and plop with a microfiber towel while getting ready for the day. I air dry or diffuse depending on the schedule and I get nice soft bouncy curls.

I have 3b/c hair and received this as a free sample. It is very watery in consistency. I used a good amount, and found I had good curls. However, one side of the front of my head got frizzy and dried at a completely different length than the rest--several inches shorter and without good curl definition. Second day my hair had more frizz and flyaways overall than usual. I won't be buying this in future.

I haven't tried a huge variety of gels, but I like this one a lot. It is not drying, gives me clumpy curls, fights frizz even in high humidity, and gives good 2nd day hair even though I sleep like a madman. It dries kind of crunchy but it can be scrunched out. The reason it doesn't get 5 curls is because it gives me a wetblook at times and elongates my curls, which is not a bad thing, its just that its not very versatile. I'll still repurchase it though, and it smells delicious.

My hair changes throughout the year, and even during different seasons it's very moody. I find that when my hair is well-moisturized, Rockin' Ringlets gives me more definition and springier curls than either of my other favorites: ArcAngel and Curls in a Bottle. When my hair feels dry, I need a leave-in beneath Rockin' Ringlets. Aside from watching out for dryness, this is a fantastic product. It truly helps shape my hair and give it a style, and it doesn't have either crunch or heaviness. I use about 1-2 quarter sized globules mixed with a dime-sized daub of Confident Coils, air-dry, and my hair looks well-managed and very curly. I love this, and I'm sure I will use it for a long, long time.

I tried this with CC and found that while it did give me a tighter curl, I got plenty of frizz and my hair was dry at the end of the day. I suspect it's the mag sulfate (which my hair seems to hate) and the glycerin, because FSG is normally a HG for my hair.

Unfortunately this product did not work on my fine, 3b hair. No matter how much, or how little I use, my hair is frizzy and doesn't look manageable. It is so unpredictable that I can't wear on work days as I never know what my hair will look like. It also hasn't resisted the humid weather either.

Does enhance my curls but my hair but I have two different textures, 3c/b on top and 4 underneath. The four gets nice and elongated and curly, but the top gets hard and dry also kinda frizzy. I combined with rockin curls... just didn't work for me. Even when it dried i try to scrunch put the dryness but it just does'nt come out... sad i wasted the money

3b/3c fine thin hair in Hawaii i love love love this product I got very pretty spiral curls with this. I only used a dime size if that in each section of my hair (parted hair in six sections). I need a product that would not make my curls stringy or too puffy because i have thin very fine hair. I paired this with Redken spring mousse, a dime size or less of recoil, a dime size or less of confident curls, and half a pump of tigi curls rock amplifier. Its very soft. Love love will buy again.

I had my doubts when I first started experimenting with this product but for some reason my hair is in love with it! I found that my hair didn't seem to mind the glycerin in it during the winter/spring for some odd reason. I just scrunch it in and just nice, clumpy waves!

Okay, this is a miracle in a bottle. Normally, I will never see a ringlet on the top portion of my head; in-fact, my hair hardly ever curls up top, it sort of just lays there and the curls start from right above my ears, but after one use of this product, it was like........BAMM! instant curls. It reminded me of the curls I had when I was a little girl. I did have some major frizz going on in parts, but I can't say this product is to blame, since I was experimenting and did not have any leave in in my hair. I am truly amazed with the results and this is going to be one of the products I use on a daily basis. I purchased the Tropical scent and OMG it's wonderful. Way to go Jessicurl!!!!! I'm looking forward to trying the rest of your line.

Use sparingly on 2a hair or it will be too oily looking.

I use this and the CC together and I always get great results. This and CC are my most favorite products because it works so well with my hair. I have the Island Fantasy scent and love it! Highly recommend.

I always use this before the Confident Coils solution because it pairs so well for awesome good hair days! Love this product the best because it feels like it gets my hair prepared for any further product I put in it.

I have just started using this product along with the Confident Coil cream. I really like this product because it does not tighten my curls like gels. Also, I find that if I put both of the products while I am in the shower to assure that my hair is soaking wet, the products work much better.

I'm dissappointed in this one. I purchased it (plus the light product line sample kit) after all the great reviews, but found for my dry, fine 3b hair, it didn't do much. It gave some curls, but I still had frizz, and my hair looked dry. I've tried it with CC, I've tried it alone, I've tried spritzing some awe inspiraling spray over it, and even tried gelebration spray with it. I'm just not impressed and wish I hadn't bought it.

I am giving this a 2 because it truly does form ringlets. However, the definition goes after a short time, and my hair always feels very,very dry (it is very healthy and normally moisturized). My hair looks terrible and feels coated. I think it is because I live in a very dry climate and there is glycerin in this product plus several others in this line. AweInSpray, Hair Cleansing , and at least a couple of other products. In other words, my hair is getting dried from the glycerin in all the products. Sigh - still looking. I do think this line is good because it is so natural - just not for me. Also, Jessie gives great personal response to emails. Thanks Jessie.

I really liked this product! Only have used once, with Confident Coils on top...Shiny, clumped curls...May have to play with the amount, but overall...Love it!

"Meh", is how I would describe this. I had high hopes for it and when I used it the results were anti- climatic. Sure, it gets the job done, but not in a way that makes you say, "WOW!" I have to be careful how much I use because too much makes my hair greasy a little goes a long way. The citrus lavender scent is really nice too. I will use this product up, but I won't be buying it again.

After reading such incredible reviews for the Jessicurl line I purchased Rockin' Ringlets. I was super disappointed to find however, that this gel did pretty much nothing for my thick, coarse, frizzy, 2c hair. It had no fuzz control, no extra definition, and supplied the same end results as the $5 stuff I can buy at Walmart. The only pluses for me were the nice Island Fantasy smell, and that it at least didn't make my hair any worse. For the price, I would be very hesitant to buy again.

I love this product!! One word I would use to describe this product is clean. My hair feels so clean after using this--never sticky, greasy, or crunchy. I've also been receiving compliments on how shiny my hair is. This product is remarkably light but still seems to provide a lot of hold throughout the day--and I still can't believe it feels like there's nothing in my hair!! The Citrus Lavender scent smells really fresh and herbal. I bought this with the Confident Coils but have found that using this alone is best for my hair.

I adore this product. My half curls turned into beautiful ringlets with this. I do use Condident Coils with this(which is the "gel" of the two..this is just for curl formation) and am in love :) I only give 4 curls because i'm a bit lazy and have found diffusing/ air drying with this product leaves my hair a bit flat...plopping/plunking is necessary(for me at least...i've read a lot of reviews and most women don't need to do this)..which equals more time needed to style my hair.

Works pretty well, gave me soft beautiful curls especially with Confident Coils. However there is one crucial quality it lacks - the curls do NOT last through the night at all and I always wake up with unusually stringy and tangled curls in the morning, more than with any other styling product I've used. The Awe Inspiraling Spray does not work to help and revive them at all. This would probably be great if I showered in the morning. Minus one point for lack of versatility!

I have long 3b hair. I usually use this after leave in conditioner (MOP) and a mousse. Its consistency is thin enough that I can use it to twist my curls, and no matter how much I use it drys soft (only a little crunching needed) and no white dry gunk!

I have fine, wavy hair, but lots of it. It is not naturally dry at all, and my scalp tends to be more on the oily side. I tried Rockin' Ringlets for a whole month every way I could think of, and all it does is make my hair greasy, flat, and frizzy. I found that I can get away with using it without weighing it down and causing tremendous greasiness if I use only a little less than a dime-sized dot, and scrunching it out evenly all over the head, but even then it can't be used alone or frizz will still be horrible. I then have to put a gel on top of it. If I do that, then when I am finished drying my hair and scrunch it, my hands come away feeling like I have to wash them because they are coated with a thin greasy feel. I can't understand how everyone loves this product. Maybe if you have very dry hair, which most extremely curly types seem to talk about, then the flax seeds in this product would be good for moisturizing your hair and not turning it into a grease pit.

I mix this with Confident Coils and have generally been pleased. This was the first styling product I've tried since I went CG. I'll probably try out some others, preferably ones I can get locally, but I wouldn't rule out returning to it. Any crunchiness I get in my hair is easily scrunched out.

I think this product is confusing to some, because it's not a gel or for hold really. It's mainly for curl formation and best paired with Confident Coils. I think of it as a styling "aid" to a gel. I rake this through my hair before blot drying after washing and follow it with Confident Coils. My hair loves this, and I have been out of it for two weeks and already can tell the difference without using it. My hair is not as curly without it. Must reorder asap. Also, I think it's meant to be super thin, so it doesn't add extra weight to your hair when you pair it with Confident Coils.

This has a weird consistency...it doesn't really glide easily over the hair. Nevertheless, it produces great curls! It took me quite a while to figure out the correct amount to use but when I finally figured it out, voila! Perfect curls! I combine this with Jessicurl Confident Coils and Carol's Daughter Hair Milk

This product works well for what it is intended for: to enhance curls. However, the directions on both the bottle and the website say that for added hold, to use in conjunction with CC which is supposed to give more hold, but, at least for my hair, doesn't. If all you need is curl enhancement-definitely get this. If you want hold, can try it with CC as directed, but at least in my experience it didn't work. Also, I opted for the scent free version which actually smells like old vitamins.

I'm glad I got past its mucky look because this stuff is awesome. Works for me with or without CCSS.

My problem area is always the back of my head, where curls feel heavy and undefined (even with a Deva Cut). However, RR definitely bring out even the shyest curls, and lasts all day! I am giving it 4 instead of 5 only because I know it really works best with CCSS.

I like this product. It works great for me when used with Jessicurl's Confident Coils (which I gave 5 stars; it's that good). I alternate this combo (CC + RR) with Kinky-Curly's Curly Creme and Knot Today ( I wish I could give the KCCC more than 5 stars. that product's outstanding!)

Used with Confident Coils this is a great product for soft curls. But doesn't have enough hold. My curls were very frizzy.

I really liked this potion. It created great clumpy curl formation and zero frizz. It worked best for me alone not with the Confident Coils.

My hair was soft and shiny with no frizz. I have long hair 2A, and it seemed like I had to use a lot of product for decent distribution. I found the citrus lavender fragrance a bit off-putting, but i'll definitely give island fantasy a try.

I love how Rockin' Ringlets boosts my curls. My curls are skinnier that I like when I use it alone, but paired with Confident Curls, I get chunkier curls, and they last better.

I received a little sample of RR in the mail with my purchase of HCC. THE CURL ENHANCING EFFECT WAS LIFE-ALTERING. But I have to wait for after Christmas to acquire some lucre to buy it.

I LOVE this product. I used it last night in conjunctions with the confident coils, and it made my curls so soft yet frizz free and defined. The only thing I didn't like...it looks gross. I think I got the wrong scent, but other than that. I love it!

I really love this. It reminds me of Batia and Aleeza Hair Gel but it doesn't have the slicones. I use this with Oyin Shine and Define Serum. I can't use Confident Coils. It really dries my hair out, but this combination really works for me.

I had really high hopes for this product but was disappointed. It's great that you can select a scent so all of your Jessicurl products smell the same (and the Citrus Lavendar is really great) but that's about the best I can say about this. Looks a bit too much like swamp ooze and made my fine, dry curls crunchy and stringy with no help in curl formation - my hair was less curly with this than without! Maybe I used too much/too little?? Not impressed. Made my hair feel a bit dry - but my hair did smell great...

This product defined my curls, but they were dried out. I had a difficult time distributing it on damp hair, but it was easier to distribute on wet hair. I was not impressed.

I love the curl formation I get with this. It turns my 2-ish waves to bouncy curls. I get best results when I use it with the Confident Coils. I'm having trouble getting the combo to work well in high humidity, so I gave it 3 curls. Once I get that figured out, though, this will definitely be my HG!

This product gets 4 curls, but only in conjunction with using Confident Coils. Both products together create great curls and leaves my hair soft and shiny. Visit the Jessicurl website for some great tips on applying both RR and CCSS. Her tips really do work to create lovely curls. The Lavender Citrus scent is lovely, as I'm sure the Island Fantasy is with all the revies.

I have 2b to 3b hair. I love RR. I use it with Mop Top Anti-Frizz gel and get great results. The trick is to apply it to wet, wet hair. You should hear the water squish in you r hair as you scrunch. I always thought I had fine hair but this did not weigh my hair down at all. These two products are the only products I've found that give me SHINY bouncing curls.

I love this stuff!!!! if your having problems with it try letting your hair dry then damping it just a little and scrunch a little more on....Also Wash your hair every other day not everyday. The next day i wet my hair and reaply some more....it seems best on day 2

I wanted to love this stuff because it gave me all these spirals but they were super frizzy spirals. Even when I used Curl Keeper in conjunction with this (which should have knocked it out), my curls were still frizzy. Smells nice (island scent with heavy coconut accents) but the ringlets are frizzy so I'm back to my AG Recoil.

This stuff is good, but use it exactly as reccommended: 1. hair should be dripping wet, 2. follow with Confident Coils. I didn't give 4 curls because I'd rather use one product than have to layer two.

I used this in conjunction with the CCSS as directed by Jess. If you use it just like she recommends you will get great results. It smells SO GOOD too. It is supposed to be used for curl ecouragement while the CCSS holds it that way. I must say that I would prefer that it were in a spray bottle as it really is a bit too thin for palm application, other than that no complaints. Bravo Jessicurl!

I was truly surprised at how much I liked this product. I have very fine hair that easily looses it's curl, and despite this product being marketed towards heavier curlies, I found it had just the right amount of soft hold and support to keep the curls going. It is a product best cocktailed with CCSS, but it's all about the amount you use with both of these products, something that takes a little bit of patience to work out, but WELL worth it. :)

I love how this combined with plopping technique give me the most defined, frizz-free curls! My hair never feels greasy, either. The Island Fantasy scent is so yummy, too!

I like this product a lot...I use it with another line's gel, and the combination is perfect. I have nicely defined curls; I only get frizz when my hair is cut really short, and I think the problem is mostly my unruly greys.

Great stuff. Gives my difficult thick hair great curls. I'm surprised that it's not rated higher so I wanted to add my positive rating.

As it stands, I use a little on my short hair to combat the frizzies. Leaves my hair a little crunchy, but I can scrunch it out. Should be really great for curl formation when my hair is longer. Highly recommend!

I got a sample of this when I ordered the some other products from CurlMart. All I can say is WOW!!! Someone definately knew what they were doing giving out free samples! ;-) I wasn't sure about it when I first poured some in my hand - it's very runny & thin, unlike anything else I have used. It really dispersed though my hair nice & evenly though, and I ended up with the most gorgeous, perfect ringlets - and no crunch! I really seemed to boost & tighten my curls and gave me great definintion (as well as some very nice compliments). I absolutely LOVE this gel & will definately buy it again!

This product left me with a lot of halo frizz and my hair was not as curly as it normally is. I also used the confident coils and it didn't help at all. By the end of the day my hair was super frizzy! I think all the oils in this product make my hair act the same way that products with silicones make my hair act (less curly and way more frizzy).

I got great curl formation when I applied it to my dripping wet hair followed by confident coils. It also holds really well for the entire day.

I can see how this product might work for thick, coarse hair, but all the oils in it just made my fine hair really limp and dull. It did define the curls, but pulled them down, leaving me flat on top.

It smells great, good price, easy to put in and distribute, but unfortunately I had a lot of "halo frizz" no matter what I tried with it. I love Jess' other products though!

I was truly amazed that this product actually turned my naps/kinks into RINGLETS. I'm still playing around with how much to put in my hair so that my hair doesn't feel crunchy.

Didn't work for me so well. Got lots of frizz. Tricky to figure out and distribute over the hair.

I really wanted this to work, but it did nothing. I tried it all different ways - with the other Jessicurl styling products, on it's own, different amounts, etc, but it did absolutely nothing no matter how little or how much I used... absolutely nothing at all.

I liked this product for touch ups. It curls frizzy sections up nicely and quickly. However, over time, it seems to dry my hair out. I think that my hair is sensitive to the Magnesium Sulfate. However, many people use it successfully, so don't let that discourage you.

I love this curl enhancer. I use it everyday under whatever gel I'm using. I swear I can tell a difference when I don't use it. I have a gallon of Too Shea and have considered a gallon of this too.

It controlled some frizz, but that was it. Definitely not the product for me. My hair is a big frizzy afro without products, with this product it was a big mass of slightly-less frizz.

Nope, didn't work for me... I tried it in many different ways, but I always got frizz and poor hold. My hair was way curlier though, but I don't care much about curl enhancement, if my hair waves it's fine, as long as I have definition, shine and hold. This product gave me none of the above.

I used this together with CCSS and WOW!! Talk about nice bouncy curls and waves. I barely had any frizz at all and being a 2c with a layer of frizz on top thats hard to do! I would use this for frizz control alone even if it didn't give me beautiful bouncy waves and curls.

Had trouble because I used too much. Mixed with a small amount of Confident Curls and it gave me the hair I had always dreamed of. Truly enhances curls and smells like a beach vacation.

On it's own, this doesn't give much hold, but leaves my wavy hair soft with a small bit of definition. I did notice halo frizz later in the day. (With Confident Coils though, WOW!)

Too liquidy for me and too much trial and error to fiqure out the right amount to use. I see how it has worked for so many others. I guess that I am just too impatient.

This is a very interesting product, and I have to say I haven't totally figured it out yet! It's very watery and I have trouble distributing it in my hair before it falls through my fingers. I put it in a spray bottle and it works well for me that way. (I was told it doesn't work in a spray bottle, comes out in a stream--?) Put it in very wet hair too. I think all the products in Jessicurl's line are designed to work together. My hair is VERY soft and curls are well defined, but in this FL humidity it just isn't enough control against frizz for my 3b hair! Almost perfect!

i love this! it gives me beautiful bouncy spiral curls and very little frizz. my only complaint is that it's a very thin consistency.

This did very little for me. Some nice curl formation, but not enough hold and a little too much frizz. Doesn't hold up in humidity. Hair was limp. Works better in combination with something else, like Paul Mitchell's The Cream

one of my favorite products. i second wanting to drink it especially if its island fantasy scent. great curl formation, i need a bit of gel with it for hold though. i like the texture and appearance of it because it's unlike any other product I've seen. Awesome product, but it will take a time or two to figure out exactly how to use it. I figured it out and I'm glad I did.

This is a great styler. Make sure you read up on usage-tips on the Jessicurl website. It makes a difference. This product left my hair soft and defined, not dry and crunchy. It actually keeps frizz away for me a lot longer than my old standby gel.

Once I learned from Jess's site how to use this, I really loved it. Nice separation of curls. Natural

Rockin' Ringlets is my favorite styling product of all time. It does exactly what I need, which is keep my curls together and as coherent and frizz-free as possible without also coating my hair with silicone and leaving me with impossible build-up. It's alcohol-free and does not dry out my hair -- very important since I'm growing my hair to classic length. This does not replace gel but for curlies who need more hold, you can just add gel on top of RR to get the best of both worlds.

After I finally figured out how to use this on my hair it is now in my top 2 favorites. I do not like gel so I was unsure how to approach it but WOW. This works excellent for me. Bouncy beautiful curls and a bunch of shine. My hair is soft and touchable.

All I can say is BLAH! 'Cause that's what it did to my hair. My hair looked okay for a couple of hours then it just went limp. What's up with that?

I think this would work better for curlier people. I have coarse barely wavy hair that is easily weighed down by product. This gave me good definition but leaves my hair a little greasy looking, heavy and flat. I need more hold and less weight. I like it enough to keep around and use together with other stronger hold products, but this will not be my holy grail. It does work great to tame strands of frizzies when my hair is dry. I give this product kudos just for being natural and healthy, which is really important to me!

This is one of the BEST products out there for curl enhancement. Seriously, there aren't very many styling agents that can make my 3A hair almost look like a 3B. It's pretty amazing. However, the product is a bit tricky to work with (very, very liquidy) and I find that I need to use a lot, which doesn't make it very cost effective. Still, I always keep some on hand to use for special occasions. :o)

Too heavy for me - causes flat hair on top. If I use too much I get crunch. Best results for fine-hair come with using a very small amount, but then a gel is needed on top for hold.

this product is sooooo good! just don't order the unscented very (it's stinky)

This definitely wasn't strong enough for my thick 3b hair. I was a little disappointed. It just leaves my hair limp and a little too crunchy.

I love this stuff--when combined with some other mousse or gel, I get nice, soft, shiny curls. My only complaint is that it provides no root lift, but that can be alleviated with some clips and a diffuser.

My hair:2b, 3a and fine. This was too heavy for my fine hair, even after playing around with amounts. I prefer the lighter version: Gelebration.

3A hair. I love this product, it does what NO OTHER product does for my hair: shiney, NON-greasy, good curl formation, no crunch. And not only does it bring out the curl, but a nicely formed soft curl, different then curl formation on other products. I ordered a full bottle of this, the key is to apply to very wet hair.

I like combining this with my regular gel. It doesn't do much for me on it's own. However, with the gel it helps give me nice ringlets. Since I dont use a lot (a few drops per nickel size amount of gel) it lasts a long time, so the expense isn't too bad.

I love this product for curl definition. I also like it because it is light and does not leave my hair crunchy. I am not looking for hold, just curl definition. And the smell makes you want to drink it.

I guess I had better luck than Michelle. If I use the right amount, I get great curl formation. ( I get crunch if I use too much.)

Although I've read numerous positive reviews on this product, it wasn't thick enough for my coarse 3b hair. If it was a thicker gel, I think I would get better results.
