I love this conditioner. It works fantastic for a cowash and as a rinse out. I don't generally need a leave in but if I do this also works great for that. I tried both fragrances and find them both pleasant. I don't think this would be moisturizing enough if you shampoo your hair everyday, but as a cowash it provides enough moisture.

The Jessicurl Aloeba Daily keeps my ultra dry hair well moisturized without heaviness or excessive buildup!! I love it!!

LOVE this conditioner. It's lightweight, but super moisturizing. If you leave it on your hair in the shower for a few minutes while you shave, it absorbs into your hair perfectly and makes it so soft, even after you rinse it out. The citrus lavender smell is great and I love how you can buy it in more economical liter or gallon sizes (although not on curlmart). I will definitely repurchase.

Great as a conditioner after gentle shampoo or co-wash day. Hair is soft not frizzy.

This makes a great cowash. It's good enough as a RO and LI, but I love it best a cowash. It's moisturizing, and yet cleans surprisingly well. My hair is never greasy after this, which used to be a problem for me with cowashing.

I'm a 3B. This product was ok. I liked the smell (Island Fantasy) and how light weight it is. It really gave my hair volume without even trying and my hair was really soft (I applied condish and wrapped it in a shower cap, running it under warm water while I shaved my legs-which always helps). I found the frizz factor was just ok and an 8oz bottle isn't going to go a long way. I would buy this again if it came in a bigger bottle and use a frizz reducing styler.

I had a sample first and no expectations, so when I used it and it was very light I wasn't disappointed. Too Shea is one of my favorite rinse out/leave ins, but this, even though lighter, works well for me too. Makes a nice light leave in and just perfect when paired with heavier styler/sealer. I loved how light and swingy my hair was when I used it. Got a full size bottle.

This product was very disappointing.. I was very excited when buying it.. That I couldn't wait to try it.. It's didn't leave my hair soft.which my hair is normally soft.. And after only2 days my hair felt very dry and I ended up washing it again.. I probly just use this up and stick to my other products.. but worth a try.. Wouldn't recommend for kinky textures...

Nice slip and detangling, used both as a RO and a LI. The only reason I gave this 4 curls instead of 5 is because of the price - for how much it is, I have other, cheaper conditioners that I like just as well.

I use this as a co wash, not a RO. I love it!! It is very moisturizing, has good slip, and leaves my very clean and bouncy. It cleans surprisingly well for a conditioner, better than some low poos, yet its still very moisturizing. Plus it smells great. I have this one in the 32 ounce bottle, its a staple.

It's ok. I didn't find it moisturizing enough for my hair (the dry winter weather may have something to do with that too)and I need something with more slip for detangling.

I purchased the entire Jessicurl line to try out. I've got 2b hair that needs a LOT of moisture and I just couldn't find anything moisturizing enough. Pictures on their website showed such shiny hair ^^ For this conditioner, I found that it wasn't enough moisture for me as a rinse out conditioner. However, using just a drop or two as a leave in conditioner has been miraculous. My hair is so soft and manageable. My recommendation is that if you tried this and it didn't work for you, try a drop or two as a leave in and see what happens.

I love this conditioner!!! I've tried deva, suave and others and this is the ONE! It leaves my usually dry hair moisturized and shiny and with 3a curls!!! I also can use as a leave in, I have never been able to so that with my fine hair. The BEST!!

I have fine, wavy hair, but lots of it. It is not naturally dry at all, and my scalp tends to be more toward the oily side. Aloeba is supposed to be for finer-haired curlies, but it simply didn't do anything good for me at all. It has no moisturizing abilities, and it ended up coating the hair shaft each time I used it. Since I use shampoo only about every 3 or 4 days and the other days I do the no-poo method, the days that I didn't use shampoo the Aloeba would just keep building up on top of the previous day's application. Also, Aloeba's ingredients served to weigh my hair down being as they coated the hair, which I don't want, being finer-haired. I couldn't wait to use this product up and have it gone and finished so I could move to something better and definitely more moisturizing! Avalon Organics Olive & Grape Seed Moisturizing Conditioner, Fragrance Free, is just what my hair needs for excellent lighter daily conditioning without being greasy or weighing it down! By the way, I've used all the Jessicurl products in the unscented versions, and even though each has its own very light natural smell from the ingredients in it, I do appreciate the opportunity to be able to purchase products without strong scent!

This is an excellent daily conditioner. The Island Fantasy smell is awesome. It is moisturizing without being over conditioning. It does not weigh my hair down nor make it frizzy. It does require a nice sized amount (for my fine thin chin length hair that is almost a quarter). If I use the JC Gentle Lather Shampoo and this I can easily wet my hair the second day and don't need to rewash or condition again so the amount used is offset with the fact I don't need to use it again every day. It makes my hair very soft but it does NOT pull out the curl (a common problem for me with condish's that leave my hair soft). Excellent product!

A great conditioner, absorbs quickly and leaves my curls moisturized. However, it is a bit runny and you need a lot of it.

A nice 'whenever' conditioner. I have to be careful not to use too much because it can be a little heavy for my 3a/3b hair. Sometimes I apply only a dab to the very ends of my hair, but if I feel I'm a little dry, I'll apply to the entire length. I always have a bottle in my stash, even though I don't use it every day. Great stuff.

This was an okay light conditioner, but I had to use a lot of it. It made my curls softer but didn't really detangle very well.

This is the first time I have really not liked a product. It left my hair really dry and frizzy. I had a sample bottle and used almost the whole thing and my hair looked bad. However, I really liked the Too Shea Conditioner. I guess my hair really needs a strong conditioner.

Not too heavy for my very fine hair but also not as moisturizing as I would like. The Citrus Lavendar scent is wonderful! Might have to try this as a leave-in since my hair felt a bit dry after rinsing this conditioner out. A bit pricey.

Whoa. I was expecting much more from this line. Anyway, this was an okay conditioner. I have found cheaper products that work much better. It did not help with detangling my hair at all. I was disappointed.

This is the best conditioner I have ever used. It provides lots of slip to help me detangle. It provides lots of moisture that lasts much of the day. And it leaves my curls feeling soft. During the summer I use this as a leave-in as well, and I find that I don't need any gel, styling lotion, etc., on top of it.

I have 2b to 3b hair. This is a great light conditioner for hair that is easily weighed down. My hair feels soft after it dries even when I don't put in a leave in conditioner I only gave it a 3 because I'm trying to decide between this and Too Shea. Depending on if my hair is in a 2b mood or a 3b mood.

My favorite out of all three Jessicurl conditioners. Ultra shiny, soft, well defined curls. There is a huge misconception that this conditioner is light. It is in consistency. However, it contains the most oil. The best moisturizer. It is a "stand alone" product. I can use this conditioner layered with or with out a gel and great results. I love it!

My hair is brittle, dyed and very dry. I need some kind(s) of conditioners to restore the protein.

I LOVE this conditioner!! It's a little runny, but I don't need much. It leaves my hair silky smooth. My curls always look awesome when I use this. However, I find it's best to detangle before using it. My hair absorbs the conditioner as soon as I put it in, so I'd have to use a ton to get a good slip. My only complaint is the price. This would probably be one of my HGs if it wasn't $10.00 a bottle, so that's why I only buy it as a treat.

I keep going back to aloeba mainly for the frizz busting curl defining effect it has on my hair, however it does seem to cause a little build-up and my hair can look waxy but all in all i couldn't do without it. I find i need to use a hec of a lot as well to detangle, would probably be a 4 start if it was a little cremeier and a little less prone to build-up. Having said that it has a firm place in my bathroom.

My hair: 3c/4a This product was a Godsend when I was growing out my relaxer. I used it as a leave in conditioner and it was light enough that it didn’t weigh down my permed hair but moisturizing enough for my new growth of natural hair. Now, I’m 100% natural and my hair needs something a little creamier. I highly recommend this great conditioner, especially as a detangler and leave in conditioner.

This didn't give me enough moisture some how. Smells good (IF scent).

This did nothing for me. It DEFINITELY did not help in detangling. Like the other products from this line, it smells good, but there isn't much else to say about it.

GREAT product. I have 3c with some 3b, and I'm on the CG method. It's so light, I can leave it in and get great condition without it weighing down my curls. It is a FABULOUS detangler. Nice price too!

Since I started using Jessicurl all the time, my hair doesn't *need* a lot of detangling. The combination of all the different Jessicurl products has made such a difference in my hair that it's no longer tangly, and it is shiny. I love Aloeba-it's not too heavy for my fine, wimpy hair.

I think that this conditioner may be my HG. I do wish it detangled my hair immediately upon application. However, when I use this conditioner, after my hair is dry, I have consistently good hair. I don't use it as a leave in. I put it on my wet hair and allow it to soften it for a minute before I begin combing. When I rinse, almost nothing goes down the drain because my hair has absorbed it ALL. The more often that I use it, the softer my hair becomes, which cuts down on breakage. The weight of this conditioner allows good curl formation because there is no weight to stretch the curls out. Also, this is a good choice for the whole family. It works well on my toddler's curls, too.

I prefer this as a leave-in. It's not detangling enough for me but it's a nice, light, moisturizing conditioner. Definitely works as a leave-in that gives moisture but won't weigh the hair down.

Perfect for my 3a/3b fine hair. Most conditioners weigh my hair down, but with Jessicurl hair cleasing cream and this conditioner, my hair is curlier than ever. Love it!

I am writing this review more as someone who has sensitive skin. I used this conditioner once and it broke me out horribly on my chest, back, and face. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin beware.

I have 2a/3a fine hair. It actually doesn't provide enough richness or conditioning for my hair. It leaves it pretty tangled as well. I much prefer the Too Shea.

I've used this w/the Hair Cream and on it's own and it is a great daily conditioner for my 2A/3A hair. It leaves it soft, without weight and about the right amount of 'basic' conditioning. Will definitely purchase the larger size (I purchased the trial size).

I was really expecting this to be the bomb for me but it wasn't. I've used it as a condish and as a leave-in with little success. If I had to choose a condish to use as a shampoo substitue I would and have used this very nicely.

Love this. I even sometimes dilute it and spray it in after my shower. I use a lot and it's pretty expensive to do that. My hair smells good all day, even after it's dry.

it makes my hair so soft and shiny without weighing it down. it seems like the more i use it, the curlier my hair gets. i'm recovering from a chronic flat-iron problem, so my ultra dry damaged hair LOVES this conditioner!

Very good conditioner for days when I need light moisture. My hair loves conditioners which absorb into the hair instead of just coating it. Aloeba absorbs. I also use it as a leave-in.

This has a thinner texture than I prefer but it still packs a good punch when it comes to moisture. Left my hair soft and bouncy.

A wonderful daily conditioner that does exactly what it claims to do, which is pretty amazing. It hydrates and doesn't weigh hair down.

I really thought my hair would love this, but it hasn't stood out to me in the world of conditioners. This feels lightweight in texture, but is a little heavy in my (easily weighed coarse 2C) hair and has seemed to leave a little buildup. My hair likes really slimy, thin, sea-weedy conditioners, and this may be a little too moisturizing for my waves. It does have redeeming qualities---it smells great, is made from natural ingredients & isn't tested on animals. I think this would work best on curlies who drink in moisture. However, it doesn't work well enough for me personally to repurchase, esp at its high price.

all this product is missing is just a little more detangling features and it would be perfect. nice scent and convenient see through packaging

Love it! Easily the best conditioner I have ever used! Very moisturizing but not too heavy for daily use or for my fine hair. Gave me silky, lustrous hair with soft little ringlets.

Wonderful smell. It detangles and moisturzes really well. Leaves hair very curly and soft. And can use often without buildup.

My Hair: 2b, 3a and fine. Very nice, light conditioner. I have used it frequently in this dry winter weather, but not daily, as to avoid buildup on my fine hair.

3A. This is the best conditioner i've tried, does NOT weigh my fine 3A hair. I also mix a bit of this in a small spray bottle and use as leave-in once during the day. My curls 'curl' right up because they're healthy with this.

I LOVE this conditioner. It leaves my hair super soft. I also use it as a leave-in and daily conditioner. The only problem is that my hair loves it so much, that I use a lot of it and it's rather expensive to use a lot. It's my favorite part of the shower!

Jessicurl has made my trip to natural nappy/curly hair a blessing. This product I love because it is versatile. I can us it as a conditioner/detangler or I can us it as a leave-in. I use it everyday, and it keeps my hair soft, managable and moisturized. Again, my mother and now my aunt and friends are using up my supply.

I love this conditioner! My hair drinks it up. I use it as a leave in and get great moisture and my curls really pop. The only caveat is it is an instant detangler ie unlike most conditioner. Instead of applying and leaving it in 5 minutes to detangle, I need to detangle immediately after application, otherwise my hair has absorbed so much I don't have much slippage. Probably not ideal if you have supertangly hair but other than that it's got everything my curls need.

I love this as a good daily detangler and it works well if you leave a little in. It's got a good consistency and a nice smell and made my hair feel softer.
