The smell is amazing and I love the ingredients. It is good for frizz, but it's not as moisturizing as other products (SM Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Milk or Kinky Curly).
Smells great, nice and lightweight and I can definitely tell it is waterbased. However, it is not overly moisturizing and I can use it to refresh but that's the extent of it. But it doesn't make my hair sticky and matted like the shea moisture curl and style milk. It also doesn't weigh my hair down.
Smells so yummy! It is not as moisturizing as I thought it would be. I can use it with another leave in and it does well. Works more like a styling cream for me. But my God the smell! It's like vanilla caramel sweet goodness. mmmmmmmm
I have 3a/3b curls and this product leaves my curls defined with no frizz. I blown dry my hair upside down to give it volume & this product doesn't weigh my hair down.
I really like this product since it is easy for me to spread in my hair, it smells delicious, provides hold and moisture, defines my curls while giving very little to no frizz at all, and it gives me fourth (you heard me, fourth!) day hair. For me, this product works as both a moisturizer and a gel since it causes my hair not to dry out as much and it defines my curls so much. The only problem is that it takes so long for my hair to dry after I use this product, but otherwise the product is golden!
I really like this product. It's the only product I've used from their line. I use it as a moisturizing cream rather then a styling cream since it's really light weight. It smells AMAZING and works well on my 3b curls. I use it more as a leave in moisturizing cream and then apply my curling style cream right after. Overall, it's the 2nd time I buy this product and have nothing bad to say about it.
I have 2b/2c fine, thin, low-porosity hair. I tried a pea size amount in all four sections of my hair but it was too heavy for my hair. Once dried, it looked flat, oily, greasy, and stringy. I saw a you tube video of a girl who swore by Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk (dime size) and then CURLS Creme Brulee a pea size scrunched into her hair. I tried that and my hair turned out very frizzy, really, really weighed down, no curl definition, flat, and looked extremely dull! I checked the CURLS website after my disaster and found out that this product is NOT recommended for fine or thin hair. But I found out that the CURLS Gel-Les'C is specifically formulated for fine, thin hair. I tried it and it worked brilliantly!
I don't really like this stuff, it's TOO lightweight and it doesn't really provide me any moisture. I had to use double the amount of my usual styler and it didn't really give me any curl definition. My hair ended up crunchy and hard, it was very stiff, and it looked like a tumbleweed. The only real up for me was that it left my hair really shiny and it smells great.
I liked this products I used it as a styling creme under gel and it worked really well on my 3b/3c curls. It smells amazing and I am almost certain that people with less damaged curls could use this as a leave. Good product, would recommend.
smells delicious! I used this for twist n' curls because i don't like gels/hold i'd just rather do my hair over. it has a nice amount of slip, so if your hair is well conditioned you may not even need a leave-in conditioner underneath this! it smells so good and goes on so smooth that it's easy to apply too much to each section. there's NO crunch but it can get greasy if you apply too much. overall i'd use this again and recommend to anyone especially because i've seen it at target.
