Mae is the creator and editor of NaturalChica.com. What originally started as a blog to document her own transition to natural hair for the first time, NaturalChica.com has now become a site that encourages women to embrace their natural hair & beauty.

Mae holds her B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Maryland and is currently a 2nd year Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, where she conducts research in the area of biomaterials.
