Mae is the creator and editor of NaturalChica.com. What originally started as a blog to document her own transition to natural hair for the first time, NaturalChica.com has now become a site that encourages women to embrace their natural hair & beauty.

NaturalChica.com features healthy hair care tips, product reviews, transitioning stories of other Natural Chicas, company spotlights, as well as interviews with fabulous Natural Chicas who are artists, vloggers, bloggers and from other walks in life! Mae holds her B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Maryland and is currently a 2nd year Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, where she conducts research in the area of biomaterials.
