I have type 3a hair and used to have large, barrel style curls that I could sleep on, no problem. Now, when I wake up my hair is flat and some of it is straight, and some wavy! especially the under-layers. They are always stick straight after sleeping on them! Someone help me, please!

I need to get a curly hair cut but live in the Caribbean where specialists are lacking!! They all seem to handle relaxed hair well but I am skeptical about curly hair!!! HELP this is horrible!! I transitioned from relaxed to natural about 2 yrs ago so I’m sure I have split ends, I have not had a Deep Treatment of any kind and my hair is dry, tangles quickly, but surprisingly very little breakage!! Any tips on how to get a curl cut at an ordinary salon??

Have a heart shaped face and 3c type hair. I would like to cut it short with layers but dont know how short to go. Its the frist time I actually “cut” my hair so I want it to look great. What length would you recommend?

I was wondering what is the best hair color for curly hair? I heard that if you go all one color, it makes your hair look like a big blob… so does that mean a few highlights are better? I am a brunette and do not want to color my hair much and prefer to be natural, but I want to know what will look best. Thanks!
