The 54th Annual Grammy Awards had a somber tone tonight with the devastating loss of Whitney Houston. The stars were definitely out to celebrate her life and her influential career.
Bonnie Raitt put on a fantastic performance with Alicia Keys. Her well known red hair was as fiery as ever. Bonnie’s type 2 curls were voluminous and shiny. To get her look, use a soft styling crème mixed with a shine serum and clips to accentuate the volume.
Rihanna showed offer her new look during her stunning performance with Coldplay. Her beachy Tina Turner-esque look stole the show. Her now blonde type 2C waves were wild and free. With day old waves, apply a texture spray to give you the beach wave look.
Dierks Bentley kept his cool with Miranda Lambert on his arm. He kept his type 2C curls short and sweet tonight. By tussling in a light curling gel, you can recreate his easy look.
Kimberly Perry, of The Band Perry, was the favorite curly girl of the night. She always stays true to her type 3A curls and makes us proud. Her textured curls were so perfect and were done with a texture cream and by scrunching repeatedly upside down.
Quest Love was as natural as could be. His type 4A fro was astounding.
And finally, Diana Ross was Epic! Her type 3C curls took our breath away. It was the best last minute surprise. To maintain her curls, do not use a shampoo. Wash with low-poo or just a conditioner to keep the frizz down then use a styling gel and curling cream cocktailed together.
