The Barbadian beauty captivated in a custom Alaïa gown and matching lip. But the talk of the (hair-obsessed) town was her mermaid waves. We’re guessing her shaved head didn’t go with the dress?

We’re glad the former Destiny’s Child kept her hair look simple. Her certifiably peek-a-boo mermaid gown is a lotta look all on its own!
Taylor Swift
Taylor sparkled in a J. Mendel dress in her signature white, and it looks like we haven’t seen the last of braids! They’ll be trending right into 2013.

This singer always adds a wow factor to her red carpet wardrobe, and usually this includes a new hot hue in her hair. We’ve seen hot pink, blue, purple, even green, but this year she went with an understated shiny black.

The Kiwi sported a totally extravagant, and slightly weird, gold beaded gown. We’ve gotta give Kimbra props for pulling off both the gown and the notoriously difficult bangs + curls combo.

Always hip, this lovely Brit looked understate yet chic, in a not-your-usual-award-show frock. We’re into the new red hue she’s rocking in her hair.
Craziest: Florence Welch
We love redheads in green! Welch had some slightly strange spikes on her dress, but she knew how to work it right into our hearts.
