Samantha, you are so welcome, I love trying products. My hair type is 2C and in some places a 3A.

Nicole, there are a lot of cheaper products out there, I have recently discovered L'Oreal's new non-sulfate line and love that! CurlTalk is another place to look for good cheaper product recommendations.

Tamara, thanks so much to and you are so welcome from a fellow product junkie!

I am new to the site, wish I would have known about this sooner, I felt like I was the only one struggling for the perfect product (hence perfect curl), I have been tring different products for years. right now I am between Moraccan cream for curly hair and Cat Walk Curl Booster which seems to work well, it feels light but I notice that after a cut and color my hair looks best and after about a month I need a conditioning treatment to get back the bounce. I will try your best of the best pic.. Thanks !!

It's great to know that there are other "product junkies" out there. I thought I was the only one. I too have thought many times that I'd found my HG only to discover with the changing weather or as my hair grew longer (or was cut differently) that I needed different products. The biggest problem with this is I end up with tons of products that I don't like or use. I do wish more products came in trial sizes. This would be very helpful!

Big thanks for the Best of the Best list. It's nice to have a one-stop go to list to see what products are the most popular. I also love the CurlySuzy column.

This is great! I just have one problem with the list. Most of them are not in my budget. How about a best of the best with cheaper products????

Thank you for doing this! I was thinking about doing this myself... but realized how expensive it would be! And also that I have no idea how to test products. I'm not sure if I missed it, but... what hair type do you have? That would probably be a lot of help. Thanks!
