Pantene Pro V Curly Hair Series Dry to Moisturized Shampoo and Conditioner is WONDERFUL! I really like how my hair felt moisturized. The shampoo is a great moisturizing shampoo and the conditioner has GREAT slip!

I love what lauraaah says, because I have a friend who’s currently in hair school, and she said the exact same thing about pantene! lol Even the super moisturizing formulas make my hair feel like dry straw. Also, every time you turn around they’re pulling one specialize formula they make and replacing it with something else. So even if it *does* work for you, you have to buy 20 bottles or the product will be gone next time you go to buy it. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? :-/

I’m disappointed that pantene pro-v is being highlighted on naturallycurly.com. When I was in hair school, we called pantene (and similarly constructed products) the Evil P’s because they are basically water, detergents (like the stuff you clean and sanitize greasy dishes with, not your body or scalp!), and other chemicals. They also don’t improve your hair whatsoever. They make it worse then make it appear smoother so it masks the damage. /Huff.

Actually I checked out the mousse the other day, looks pretty CG to me! Besides, I’m a wavy that can tolerate sulfates so it’s not so bad.

Sorry Pro-V, your product, the deep treatment conditioner went into the round can when I went CG. Do you wonder why? I don’t, look at your ingredients….Ingredients

This Pantene sounds HORRIBLE. I don’t know why this is posted here. Pantene is filled with horrible chemicals that are horrible for the hair. Don’t waste your time on this crap.

Ditto what GabyRM915 said! Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t work AT ALL on my hair (used it when the line changed earlier in 2010). I USED to be a devoted Pantene fan until the “new and improved” (if you can call it that) line came out. Gross. …And now I won’t even consider Pantene for the simple reason it isn’t CG friendly. …Where is that “dislike” button, anyway?

I like the fact that pantene is paying attention to us curly girls, but I’m confused as to why they haven’t researched what is good and bad for our hair!
I checked curlmart and their shampoo is PACKED with sulfates! Also, the conditioner has sodium hydroxide in it, which for me is a huge no-no (it’s in relaxers). These products are not even CG friendly
