We absolutely need more curly hair experts, and it is time that beauty schools stop overlooking curly hair. It's really sad and frustrating that I lived 22 years of my life searching for answers for my curly hair with no success. NC.com has been a truly amazing help, but Sicily is right, it would be a whole lot easier if we could get advice from our own stylists who can actually examine and assess our actual hair. Plus, not everyone knows about NC.com or has the time to do the amount of research necessary to be a do-it-yourself hair stylist. I want to reiterate that it is rare to find a stylist who knows how to style curly hair. No stylist I have ever met has ever given me any useful advice, nor have they done a good job styling my hair. I couldn't agree more. I don't want to count the amount of $$$$ I've spent on hair products! My curls have actually looked great these last couple of weeks by trying the tips I've learned here.
