Hot showers feel good, but they’re bad news for your hair, scalp, and skin. The warmer the water, the more oils are removed resulting in dry hair. Hot water on your scalp expands blood vessels, increasing circulation, but can also release itchy histamine in some individuals.
Shower in water which is not hot and if you must have a hot shower, keep your head and hair out of the hot water as much as possible, or simply turn the temperature down to wash your hair.
