I love to make videos about curly hair. I first started learning about curly hair in the summer of 2006. I always kept my very frizzy hair in buns and braids until I heard about the book "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. After reading it cover to cover and heavily consulting the NaturallyCurly.com forums I was able to let my hair down into bouncy, frizz-free ringlets and curls. I loved giving my friends with curls advice, so it seemed natural to move on to video blogs about tips, tricks, and techniques for curly hair. It's such a wonderful thing to enjoy your own natural hair, and videos are a great medium to show and tell others about caring for curly hair.
In my videos I plan to document my quest for "holy grail" products and accessories. As a product junkie, there is a large box in my room devoted to my stash of hair products, and I plan to test them all and many more. My hair has a looser curl pattern than most 3b's, but has ringlets and curls that start at the root, so it qualifies as 3a/3b. Also, as a vegetarian and animal rights supporter, I enjoy incorporating cruelty-free and organic products into my curly hair routine. Currently I am a college student with an undecided major, and my hobbies include playing my flute or ukulele, reading lots of fantasy books, and making string crafts.
