wet hair

For optimum styling results, start with soaking wet hair. Apply a generous amount of product to further saturate the hair, preferably in the shower.

One comment for “Put Styling Product in Sopping Wet Hair”

I keep reading this, but I have never been able to make that approach work. Maybe it works for people with much thicker/coarser hair than mine, but if I put gel or anything like that in my hair when it’s soaking wet, it still looks soaking wet when it dries, and I end up looking like a drowned rat. With fine hair, it seems to work better to let it dry partway so that it starts to get some volume, and THEN add your styling products.
