Q: What sort of care does colored hair need?

Ouidad: I always advise applying a deep conditioning treatment, like my Deep Treatment, three days before hair coloring to give strands substance and to allow the colorants to absorb evenly. Ten days after coloring, repeat the deep treatment to keep the color molecules bonded and to prevent fading. A daily leave-in conditioner is also a great way to keep hair looking and feeling soft and hydrated. Try my new Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner.
