I know this video is very old but the eco styler works very well with shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie.

I completely agree with you! I mix the two of them together and some of the time seal my ends with Cantu’s Shea butter and it does wonders for my curls.

I find Eco Styler works the best when you let the conditioner and oil penetrate in your hair for 10-15 minutes before applying. If you apply the gel immediately after applying the conditioner and oils it will leave a white residue. For the best results I would wash or co-wash the night before and apply a leave in conditioner in addition to mango and coconut oil, place it in a bun, then wrap it with a scarf. In the morning I take down bun, shake it out and spray just a little bit of water and then apply Eco Styler gel. Comes out perfect with no residue. I hope this works out for you
