I have 3B hair and I know exactly what you need. You need to layer your hair. If you don't have someone to layer your hair, then you can look it up on youtube.com. I always layer my hair because if I did not I would get triangle hair also. Not only will your hair be a better shape when you wear it down, it will also feel lighter. If you can`t make it to New York, no worries the have a book where they show You how to cut your own curly hair called the Curly Girl Handbook (second edition) by Lorraine Massey.Trust me I think this book will be very helpful to you.
