You can try out a New look for yourself. You should visit a good salon and take advice from their Stylist as to what would suit you the most. Short curls are definitely easier to manage. You will need to ask the stylist for a new look, and the easiest way to manage it. Only then go ahead for a change. All the best!

Cutting my hair made me love my curls!
I used to have 3b hair a few inches past my shoulders. I hated it. So last October I had it cut to a few inches above my shoulders. I absolutely loved it. I had the most adorable little almost afro. My 3b curls went to more like 3a and it was so much easier to deal with. Granted, there wasn’t much I could do with it, but with my long hair the only thing I could do most days was throw it in a ponytail. It was much more manageable short and everyone agreed it looked great (except my daddy).
Around January it went through an awkward stage and needed to be shaped up but I never got around to it. Now, almost a year later my hair is almost back to the length it was when I cut it and my curls are much better than they were before the cut. I’m thinking about taking some off again, but not as much.

i have short curly hair and planning to grow them now. the important thing is to get d right hair cut and it will be easy to manage but need accessories though. im not using any hair dryer. just d right product…

I have the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be an answer. I would like to see the pictures the curly hair stylist would show me. What are realistic expectations for the curly girls?

I have the same question my curls are so hard to handle i have type 3b and im really wanting to cut them short and edgy is that a good or bad idea?
