Suave has a really nice dry shampoo that you can spray real quick around your roots & massage it around a little bit. It works great for me & I haven't seen any residue with it. I don't comb it out or anything. It feels cooling to the scalp & smells yummy like peaches. I sweat a little bit at work sometimes & it's great for freshening up.

I used to use baby powder, but I think it was drying out my hair): So from now on I just carry a gum band & a few bobby pins in case I need to throw a messy bun in.
