Unfortunately, our dorm did not have a community kitchen, and hot plates were not allowed, so there technically was no way we would achieve our goal...if it weren't for my straightener. You may like to decorate the face. Loosely wrap the tong end with material and secure to make the skirt. Wrap a pipe cleaner around the cord just below the 'head', leaving a long bit sticking out on each side, to make arms. Finish off by using the remaining cord to fashion any desire hair design.
