Great Article! I've been transitioning since Father's Day '09 when I heard a story that changed my thinking about chemically treated hair. Since that time I have been crazy about finding information and yes I have been a slight PJ. It's only every once in a while though. I think I have my problem under control and don't need an intervention. I can't wait to do to the BC. My plan is the second spring shows her face the relaxed hair is getting chopped off. I've been doing alot of co-washing and hot oil treatments. I've also found out in this short time that if I trim my hair regular my hair grows so much faster. I am also a product label reading fool. I haven't had a chance to read your other article but I surely will start! Oh, I plan on chronicaling my hair, weight, fiancial, and personal transformations this year.

I loved your last article and I did the BC a month before you. I love my hair natural and using natural hair bare products too. I will not be a product junkie and will only by a few products that I know that will work for my hair. Reading labels is my new big thing to do this year. Keep up the articles becuase I will be reading!

Hi HJ! I have always been encouraged by your posts! Thanks for sharing your resolutions with us! As you have said in a previous article, I too have a "white man who understands" and he loves my 3c/4a curls...and loves to run his fingers through them too! It used to bother me but now I love it because he loves it so much! I use the Komaza hair care line and have had THE BEST RESULTS over every other thing I have tried (I am now a recovering PJ!!)My hair is natural, soft, shiny, and doesn't get all frizzy after all the finger stroking! Komaza uses coconut oil as a base with other natural ingredients and I have been cone free since using their product line(4 months now). The products can be ordered online and they have the fastest shipping (usually 1-2 days). Just in case you want to give them a try for the new year!!
