1. Fohawk Tutorial
You might recognize the name Marisol Correa—back in February, we interviewed her about her routine and curly hair journey as part of our Real Texture Talk interview series. If you haven’t checked her videos out, I would absolutely recommend them. I love the Fohawk Tutorial because it offers a unique style, but it is still so easy to do! All you need are bobby pins, a brush, a spray bottle with water, and the styler of your choice.
2. Sideswept Curls
Now we filmed this tutorial in preparation for Nikki’s wedding, but it was SO simple it could easily be your school hairstyle! Simply pull your twist out to the side with 3 bobby pins and voila! Sideswept curls. You’ll be surprised by just how simple this look is.
3. Bantu Knot Out
I absolutely LOVE this style and wish that I could do it on my hair! It takes a bit longer than some of the styles that I have listed above, but the great thing is that you can do Bantu knots the night before and then finish the style in the morning before you leave for school or work. MyNaturalSistas also gives a styling option for the Bantu knots towards the end of her tutorial.
4. Messy White Girl Bun
