For a few years now we’ve grown to adore Elle Varner’s ability to play it safe while seemingly testing touchy waters on sensitive topics in her soulful music as well as her personal style.
With songs like “I Don’t Care” in which she proclaims her boldness and self confidence, to radio famous songs like “Refill” where she admits when she “don’t know much is too much”.
Well, did Elle do too much with debuting this straight, blond hair ‘do in 2014? Or are curly girls around the nation cheering her on despite her drastic change?
Her hair was always part of a bold, daring package–bouncy, seductive Type 3 curls and a voice with octaves that can reach the heavens. And she’s about to release a new LP soon, which might have ignited the change.
