I don’t use mine to detangle. I use that shower comb like she shows in the video for that. And I don’t get that many tangles by poo time (every 3 days) since I finger detangle daily. I use the Denman to brush out excess water after I use a rinse-out condish, then to rake in product before I scrunch that last product bit in. It’s great for getting out water, so I can dry FASTER.
Great for getting product on every strand. Yay! And it feels good (scalp massage).

lovely french accent, plus good sense of humor. Yeah, I’ve been really on the fence about my Denman brush. I really think it does more ripping than anything. Although, before I removed every other row, the brush created very defined curls for me. Sometimes I would put gel in my hair and then ponytail it. I would then brush through, and the curls were extra cute.
Now I have some keratin in my hair, so when I brush through, I have almost 0 tangles, thus I also pull out less hair. I don’t know how my hair would react now if I put back the other rows of bristles though. But yeah, as Mir said, this brush is GREAT for stimulating the scalp!

I love your videos! I’ve learned a lot on how to care for my hair during my transitional stages. Now that I’ve did my BC I’m back at square one of learning how to manage just one texture of hair. Any suggestions?
I have the Denman brush and I love it! I don’t get hardly any lost hair from it..no more than normal. I find it to be a great tool for detangling and styling hair.

I found a faux denman brush at publix (not sure if it’s just a southern store) but it works magic on my 3c-4b hair. and it was $2 i think.
