I am not so sure about that these days. It really takes a consistent collective conscious effort to become a post racial America. I'm glad this father is fighting for his daughter, but I wonder if he would have done the same if it hadn't "hit home" so to speak. In any case that landlord should have only vacant apartments right about now, if not those folks need a side eye. I used to think that racism would die when all the racists die. As a redhead of Scottish descent who has corkscrew curls, I can tell you that I use plenty of goop in my hair, and no one has ever asked me not to swim in the pool because my hair goop is turning the water cloudy.
