Debra Messing's curls heralded by People magazine
So glorious is Debra Messing’s copper mane, it deserves its own billing on “Will & Grace,” the NBC sitcom in which she plays a delightfully ditzy interior designer. Her curls, though, haven’t always been treated with respect. Messing, 32, says that while working on her master’s in fine arts in acting at New York University, she didn’t want to deal with the upkeep, so “I cut off all my hair a la Sinead O’Connor.” She says, “I learned my lesson to think twice before doing something like that.”
