The 2011 People’s Choice Awards had a lack of curly celebrities. Check out our thoughts.
On January 5, CBS hosted the People’s Choice Awards. The theme of the night was “Hollywood chic.” At most award shows, we see celebrities bring out their curls, or even go from straight to curly. However, at last night’s show, the night’s curls were mostly MIA. This could have something to do with it being winter and the lack of humidity in the air.
No humidity means that blowouts can last much longer and you have less of a chance of your curls trying to jump back in. It also means that if you are trying to style your hair curly for the night, it is much harder to get your curls to hold.
Whatever the reason, we wish that more of the ladies of the evening had brought out their natural hair or simply worn a curly style. In case you missed the event, here are some of the straight-haired attendees of the night.
