My hair type is also 4B. I have found that shampoos that have any foaming agent are very drying to my hair as foaming agents are detergents. Detergents are stripping agents that are created to remove oils. For these reasons, I no longer use shampoos. I co-wash every three weeks. My hair is so much healthier and grows at its normal rate. Because my hair has a tendency to dry, it absorbs all the oils I use. Keep in mind, I use very light oils. Therefore, I don't experience build-up; another reason to not need shampoo.

Your hair is gorgeous! I am excitingly awaiting my length to reach your!
