Nope, they weren't born that way. Stylists spill seven tips for gorgeous hair.
Spring for a quality cut and color
The first rule of great hair is getting a great cut. “It’s so important to have a style that works for your face shape, hair texture and lifestyle and to have hair color that compliments your complexion,” says Mark Garrison, owner of Mark Garrison Salon in New York City.
“When you spend a bit more for an experienced stylist," Garrison continues. "you are dealing with an expert who knows how to achieve this.” And once you find someone you like, keep the relationship going.
“Get into the stylist’s chair every eight to ten weeks,” recommends Julie Ebner, owner of JuJu Salon and Organics in Philadelphia. “Regular trims are essential for keeping hair healthy and removing split ends.”
