I am super late with reading this entry but I just wanted to say that it gave me a little bit of hope. I just did a mostly-BC a few weeks ago and was tempted to cut off the last bit of the straight hair but I thought that was defeating the purpose...cutting it when I want to grow it out? Can't I just be patient and chop when it is a length I wanted? I am African American and I thought we were the only ones with transitioning issues. Keep up the good fight!
