  In a word: Awesome. She might be difficult to get a hold of, but that's only because she's in demand. In a very short time we developed a relationship over my hair, and collaborated on trying a couple of new things for me. She also recommended some nice products, and helped me get a discount! Sadly, I'm moving away, but I would come back for a haircut.

  I found Daphne through a friend not long after I moved to Charlottesville in 2005, and she is a godsend. I do not let anyone else touch my hair. Daphne does not specialize in curls only, but she does cut everyone's hair dry, so that she can see exactly how it will lay. She does a wonderful job of carving the cut so that it is super-flattering. Daphne also does makeup and styling for photo shoots, weddings, etc., and cuts mens's hair (she does a great job on my straight haired husband who is extremely picky about his hair). I cannot say enough good things about her!
