  I called to make an appointment with Kara. Kara was unavailable so I dealt with Anna which is not only experienced with curly hair but is a redken specialist and is a make-up artist from fort lauderdale, florida. She was so helpful. My hair was a mess and I have had several bad haircuts in the past few years. She gave me the best cut and color I have ever had in my life. Anna did not only give me my best experience at a salon but gave me tips on how to manage my curly hair. She was very professional about everything and made my salon experience relaxing and stress free. I am now a loyal client to ulta.

  Kara is the sweetest person. She was very patient telling me step by step how to style my hair at home.She gave me the best cut and color I have ever had. I am using the products she suggested My hair is not dry looking anymore. She is great!

  just got my hair cut by Kara and she is the best stylist!! Shetaught me more than I ever knew about styling wavy/curly hair. She did an amazing job talking with me and finding out what I wanted and then gave me everything that I asked for!! She also gave me some good tips on different ways to style it and get more volume at the root.. She is a sweetheart!!

  I finally found the woman I've been searching for all my life......a hairdresser who can actually cut and style curly hair!!! She was not intimidated by my lion's mane and did not mention straightening once!! For the first time I left a salon feeling good. Kara at Ulta Salon is awesome. I highly recommend her. She was a really nice, down to earth woman and she does a really good job.

  Kara was extremely rude to me over the telephone. She belittled me and I was made to feel as if I was incompetent and under-valued as a customer. I have been a faithful member of this salon for over 7 years. Because of this awful experience I chose to discontinue my patronage. I do not reccomend her as a stylist.

  I went to Kara because someone from my city reviewed her on this website...best decision ever! She really understands how to cut and style curly hair...and she has some gorgeous curly hair herself :). She puts a lot of time and effort into making her clients feel gorgeous!

  I just got my hair cut by Kara and she is amazing with curly hair. She gave me the best haircut that I have ever had. She did an amazing job talking with me and finding out what I wanted and then gave me everything that I asked for!! She also gave me some good tips on different ways to style it and get more volume at the root..so if you are looking for someone that knows what to do with your curly hair you should make an appointment with her. I am giving her card to every curly haired girl I know!

  New to the area (and high humidity), a curly coworker suggested I go to Ulta and have Kara work with my curls. As a result, my curls are much more shiny, defined and cut to compliment my face shape. I was especially impressed with her curl by curl cut and tips for crown volume and frizz-free ringlets.
