  I found Carlos on a friend's recommendation and I got my first cut with him today. I was extremely happy with my cut and the whole process. Carlos is the owner of the salon, which has a beautiful, vintage look to it. He is very friendly and even better, knows a lot about curly hair. He spent a lot of time looking at and playing with my hair before my shampoo, and immediately seemed to understand my (3b) hair and how it worked and fell. He also listened to what I said about my existing grown-out cut, which I actually really had liked but had gotten in another city. I was very happy with my cut, and it was also a very fair price. I am thrilled to have found him!
