Haven Salon and Spa is AMAZING! I booked an app here for the first time with Cleo, the salon owner who has curly hair and knows everything about the CG method. She respected the fact that I wanted to keep my length, but gave me a good touch up and made my hair look and feel great! She talked me through everything she was going to do and made sure it was what I wanted. She didn't pressure me to buy any new products, simply recommended what she thought was best for my hair type. the overall feeling of the salon was casual yet professional, and I felt very at ease. My hair looks SO good and feels awesome, I don't have enough good things to say about Haven! Go here and you will not be disappointed!!

I've had my hair cut by Brianna at Haven Salon for about four or more years. She was trained in NYC by Nick Arrojo. She listens to you before she picks up the scissors, is very well informed about curly hair and its idiosyncracies and truly wants to make you happy. And, she has! I had my haircut by Cleo last week. She did a great job and I was really happy with the way my hair turned out, which is usually rare being that I have very thick ethnic hair, that not a lot of people know how to work with.
Before she cut my hair she listened to what I wanted, she would let me know what she was going to do and what products she was going to use each step of the way. I can tell Cleo is very conscientious in her work, and has quite a vast amount of knowledge on curly hair. I really had a good experience at the salon and I thought that Cleo was very down to earth.
I got my first dry cut last week with Cleo. She has long, curly hair so she knows how to care for curly hair. She spent TWO hours cutting my hair, curl by curl. I was really, really nervous to get my haircut. I have been growing it for 3 years and did not want to lose length. Cleo did exactly what I asked for and I have my next appt scheduled. Her salon carries a wide selection of natural hair care products.

I just had the best haircut EVER. Cleo has long, curly hair and knows how to cut it. She spent 2 HOURS with me and cut each and every curl dry. She only charged $51.00 for all that time. I have long, thick, curly hair. I must admit I was very anxious before the cut. I have been growing my hair for 3 years and did not want to lose ANY length; I just wanted the ends cleaned up. My hair looks great today. The curls are well defined and I did not lose any length. I have gone to 2 other salons in the Twin Cities that claim to be CG friendly and Haven Salon truly is. They sell the Deva products as well as many other CG friendly brands. I have my next appointment booked already. If you want a REAL CG hair cut, see Cleo. You will NOT be sorry.
