    OMG WHERE DO I BEGIN!!!! I BROKE DOWN AND DECIDED TO GET A OUIDAD CUT AFTER HAVING NO LUCK GETTING MY CURLY HAIR BACK TO NORMAL ( MY HAIR TEXTURE CHANGED AFTER CUTTING MY HAIR OFF INTO A BOB AND STRAIGHTING IT FOR ATLEAST 2 YRS. IT WAS MORE WAVE AND STRAIGHT THEN ACTUAL CURL.) SO I DECIDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT SCHARDEIN & CO. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN OKLAHOMA THAT OFFER THIS AMAZING CUT AND ELISA IS TOP NOTCH IN MY OPINION. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND GOT LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT MY HAIR; FROM MY PRODUCT REGIMEN, TO HOW OFTEN I WASH MY HAIR, TO WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE FROM MY CUT. I WILL ADMIT I WASNT QUITE SURE IF THIS WAS GOING TO WORK BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED EVERY PRODUCT OUT THERE TO GET MY CURLS BACK AND NOTHING! THANK GOD FOR ELISA SHE IS A WHIZ AT WHAT SHE DOES. SHE WAS ABLE TO DEFINE EVERY STRAND AND CUT THEM TO PERFECTION MY HAIR IS FULL OF SOFT BOUNCY RINGLETS!!!!! PLUS SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AT EXPLAIN THE PROCESS WHAT PRODUCTS SHE WAS USING AND HOW TO USE THEM. I WAS ALSO WORRIED BECAUSE I AM MIXED WITH WHITE AND BLACK AND WASNT SURE IF SHE WOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH ALL TYPES OF CURLY HAIR WELL SHE MOST DEFINITELY PROVED ME WRONG, ELISA IS TRULY AN ARTIST AT WHAT SHE DOES AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER I HAVE BEEN SMILING ALLLLL DAY LONG AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELISA AND HER OUIDAD CUTS TO EVERY CURLY OUT THERE!!!! FOR $100 IT IS EXTREMELY WORTH IT AND YOU DONT EVEN NEED ANOTHER CUT UNTIL 12 WEEKS! (RECOMMENDED) I WILL BE BACK TO SEE ELISA AGAIN AND I AM FOREVER HOOKED!!!!

    Stevie is Ouidad certified and extremely proud of it. I have been a customer of hers for four years and have chin-length curly hair and she's now charging $150 just for a haircut. And she is absolutely terrible about the add-ons. At the shampoo bowl, she'll say something like "oh, I'm going to do a deep condition on you today" ... as if she's throwing that in as a special freebie with the ridiculously expensive haircut, but--nope-- there's an extra $60 charge on the bill for a deep treatment. The Ouidad cut is nice and my hair has a better shape today than ever before, but I don't think I need a Ouidad cut every 8 weeks and my hair started to get a bit too thinned out ... but she always charges the same $150. I'm not going back ... she's just gotten way too expensive. Oh, and she always tries to get out of fixing my hair ... "do you mind leaving wet today" ... Heck no, with the price you're charging me! In sum, I think she's technically good at the Ouidad cut and style, but I cannot justify the price and she started to annoy me with the surprise add ons.

    Sommer is quite possibly the best curly stylist I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She really understands the way curly hair functions and her ability to communicate with me about my hair, wants, and needs both in cut and styling product selection. She far surpasses any stylist I have ever seen. I can't praise her enough. I've had more comments on how amazing my hair looks since I started going to her than ever before in my life and it's true; my hair looks amazing.
