  Another vote for Susan! My hair is very long and Type 2b. I had not gotten it cut since January (when I still thought I had straight hair). It has been dry and yucky for a while, so I decided to make a consultation with Susan as per the reviews on this site. What an awesome day! Not only did Susan give me an amazing hair cut, she also gave me lots of useful styling tips, and she was totally on board with my natural methods (mostly water washes, organic CO sparingly, etc.) and even recommended aloe vera for styling gel, which works awesome! She also owns a copy of Curly Girl! I just washed my hair with water and scrunched with aloe vera and it looks terrific. I can even run my fingers through it without destroying any curls. It's so soft! Thank you, Susan! P.S. Sorry for the long review everybody. ;)

  I found Susan from reviews on this site and decided to drive to Cordova and give her a try since I had been unable to find anyone to cut my curly hair correctly in my hometown. It was definitely worth the trip! She did an awesome job cutting my hair and gave me some excellent suggestions on products and techniques. The real thing that made me realize what a great cut Susan had given me, was when my hair started to grow. As it got longer, it laid in a way that I could actually manage it without having a fro! I definitely plan to go back to Susan!

  I had Susan cut my hair after seeing her name on this website and she is really awesome. She totally understands naturally curly hair (she has a head full of red curls) and how to cut and style it. I have had others who could cut my hair decently, but most couldn't guide me at all in styling it. I would highly recommend her, not only for curly headed girls, but anyone!
