  In a word, James is AMAZING! He is extremely talented and intuitive; a "hair whisperer" of sorts. He knows my hair so well that I just go in and say, "do your thing." He always picks the right style for my face shape, the right color, highlights, lowlights, everything. My hair is wavy and I prefer to wear it straight with a little bit of curl showing through and James styles it just right to accommodate this. And, the cool part is that I can style my hair just like James does. And the really nice thing is that it grows out beautifully into yet another style if I don't make it back in to get it cut for a few months. I get compliments everywhere I go from friends and strangers alike. I highly recommend James whether you have straight hair or curly hair. He should have his name in lights! Thanks to James for all he does for all hair!

  Finally someone who knows what they are doing when cutting my curly hair! The second he starting cutting it dry I know my hair was going to be fantastic. Jim listened to what I want and made my hair look fantastic. My fiance loves it and I have gotten a million compliments. Jim took his time even though we were there well after closing time. I will definitely be a repeat customer for life!

  What more can I say than, YES!!!! Jim mastered an amazing transformation in my hair during my first appointment! After years of dealing with my frizzy, curly/wavy, "big hair" with nominal success, my precious fiance' (who always loves and supports me "just the way I am") admitted that whenever my hair touched his skin it felt like a "Brillo Pad" and made him itch!! As he rarely complains and is SO good to me, I set out on a quest to find someone to help make my hair manageable, soft, and marvelous for both me AND my guy before our upcoming October wedding. Jim's attention to detail in the cut, color, products, and education on what to use when and where, have absolutely transformed my hair into something I'm actually proud to sport each and every day for the first time in my life! Jim has wowed this "curly girl" so much that I've asked him to style my locks on that upcoming big day in October....AND my guy tells me that my hair is soft, sexy, and "no longer scratchy"....Mission Accomplished!   I finally found someone who knows how to deal with my crazy head of hair! He really listens and isn't just cut-happy. I actually drove from St. Cloud to have him style my hair (2 hours). I am so glad I did. Thanks to him, I am now sulfate-free and loving my curly locks again. He is the best. I would travel almost any distance to have him style my hair. The guy is a class A professional.

  I had Jim,color,cut and style my hair. I have curly hair and no one knows how to cut it right. Jim made me feel at home. He asked my a lot about my hair and what I used to style it with. He explained what I should use on my hair and how to take care of it. Jim did something that no one else had done before he asked to look at my eye's. He said I had a lot of amber in my eye's and I needed warm colors in my hair. He gave me the BEST hilights and low lights I have ever had not to mention the hair cut and style. I will make sure he takes care of my hair from now on. He is the best!!
